Benn's Picks From Last Year [Part 2]
🕑 Added 2020-08-16 01:14:27 +0000 UTCHey y'all!
So I'm slowly starting to catch up to my backlog of writing I've been putting off, this time with another one of the extra prompts from last year that I loved but didn't get to write. Once I finish the last few of these, I'll be launching a nice PDF version of those stories, which should be fun!
Because this is part of the wrap up from Year 1, I'm making this post public, so share with your friends if you think they might enjoy it!
~Benn
[August's story will be released as normal for $3+ patrons. The rest of these special picks will be public as well, so keep an eye out!]
The prompt: A prequel to the first vampire story (subby, needy vampire begging their human dom for their blood and growing more desperate for it as the human teases her about reliant the vampire is on her) link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/25654846

The girl moans with ecstasy only muffled by your hand covering her mouth. A little bit of blood escapes your lips, so you release her neck for a moment to lap it up, before sinking your fangs back in. She answers with a murmur then a gasp. And a lot of writhing.
Blood fills your mouth, pours down your throat, fills your body with insatiable warmth. It’s addictive, overcoming, you could drink every last drop and let her body drop empty to the floor and it would feel so good-
You release her. Still covering her mouth, so her confused, hazy noises don’t draw attention. She didn’t want you to stop either, though she is definitely not in any headspace to understand the consequences.
You tremble for a moment as your instincts compel you to take another bite. When you’ve got enough of a handle on yourself not to, you look the girl in the eyes. Coherence is starting to return, slowly. The influence of your intoxicating bite already wearing off a bit. She’s beginning to look afraid.
“Listen to me.”
Your voice is a restrained growl. Her eyes flicker a little, locked on yours.
“You will not remember me.”
She doesn’t respond, but her absolute focus tells you all you need to know.
“You will not remember anything from the moment you saw me tonight. It will just be a pleasant haze, a good night out.”
Her breathing even, her eyes unblinking and glazed as she internalizes your commands.
“Wait five minutes.”
Long enough for the bite wounds to close up, vampire bites heal quick.
“Then tell your friends you’re going home. Don’t take any more drinks, just go home and rest.”
And with that, you walk away. She’ll be fine, the effect of your saliva will wear off in that time and she’ll be put together enough to make it home without any more alcohol.
You head back to the bar. The music is so much louder in this part of the club. A little too loud, honestly, but you make do.
You kinda want to go home, but you know you can’t. That was the second girl of the night, and you’ll need a third or you’ll have to go out again as soon as the day after tomorrow. After a bit, you see your last victim walk to her friends, and shake her head when they ask her to stay.
It would be so much easier to just drink your fill from one. To take and take and take and not let go until that final little exhale, until there’s nothing left. The thought makes you shiver. It’s hard to control yourself sometimes. You’re a predator, you don’t like to let prey go. But if you started killing humans it would be such a headache to keep quiet.
With a sigh, you pretend to take a sip of your drink, and look over the crowd. You notice one girl, looking right at you with a coy smile. You arch an eyebrow at her. She gets up, and strides purposefully towards you.
Humans make it so easy.
You got real lucky with this one. After only a minute of pointless small talk, she took your hand and lead you away. Somewhere private, she says.
“My thoughts exactly,” you say with a smile.
Oh, she smells good. That excitement is starting to boil inside you again. Another meal. Her pulse is normal now, but soon it will quicken with fear and intoxication. She brings you back to the hall you took that other girl a few minutes ago, you note. Good, it’s perfectly secluded.
She takes you by surprise, pushing you against the wall and kissing you with confidence. You stiffen for a moment, then relax, letting your tongue entwine with hers. Perfect prey really, she’s gone and intoxicated herself for you. You pull away, and make eye contact. Her eyes are sharp. Razor sharp. You’ve done this a hundred times, yet you hesitate for a moment.
“Keep quiet.” You say it firmly.
“Well yes dear, same to you. Wouldn’t want anyone to interrupt us.”
You barely have time to register the backtalk before you feel something sharp poke your stomach through your top. You snarl and tense.
“Do be careful, I know your kind doesn’t heal quickly from blessed silver wounds.”
Oh for fucks sake.
“Vampire hunter.”
“More like, curious passerby.”
“Curious about what.” Your voice drips with venom.
“You let that girl go. Do you often leave a meal unfinished?”
“Don’t worry I won’t make that mistake with you-”
As fast as you can move, you shove and kick and throw her off of you, and turn on a heel to bolt down the hall. You can get away, regroup. Then you’ll find her.
She catches your wrist. You feel her ring bite into you. And it bites, with a sizzle, and blinding pain. You hiss, and stumble. She takes advantage to throw you bodily into the corner.
You try to scramble past her. If you had a heartbeat it would be pounding. You can hear hers, and it doesn’t even sound raised. She’s upon you in an instant, pressing her silver bracelet into your throat with an explosion of pain. You open your mouth to howl, but she shoves something cloth into your mouth to gag you. She lets up on the bracelet a little, but you can feel your aching skin twinge around it. You look at her with murder in your eyes. How did you not notice that she’s fuckin covered in silver.
When she pulls the cloth out of your mouth, you give her a snarl, a beastly, horrible sound that strikes pure terror into the hearts of any mortal that hears it.
She smirks at you.
“What the fuck are you,” you bark.
“Just a weak, pitiful little human. My turn. Have you killed before? Not just tonight.”
“Who the fuck do you think- AAMMMmmff!!”
She shoves the bracelet into your throat sharply at the same time as she gags you again.
“Answer fast and answer true, because I am now the sole arbiter of your fate. Have you killed before.”
She pulls the ball of cloth away.
“Not yet, but I’m looking to correct that right about n-ow ow ow s-stop that!”
Just barely brushing the silver against you. Her eyes lit up in some vile mix of fascination, cruelty, and smugness. It makes you blindingly angry. That’s your look, how dare she wear it.
“Mm. So there is hope for you yet, my dear.”
“What the hell is that supposed to mean.”
“It means that I would like to help you.”
“Alright, then why don’t you get off of me and turn your head to the side a little-”
She slaps you across the face, hard, with no warning. You grunt with surprise.
“You little fuck-”
Gag back in your mouth. She pulls something out of her pocket. Gloves? Delicate silver chainmail gloves. You squirm, but her knee presses hard into your chest. You raise your hands to fight back, but she grabs your wrists with ease and they burn and you squeal dully through the gag. You could spit it out but you’re not eager to see how she’ll react.
“I want to make a deal.”
Staring at her with awe and fear and fury, you wait. There is nothing else to do but wait for her to get to her point.
“I suspect that you find the idea of killing to be upsetting. I have never seen a vampire more than two years into their condition who shares that distaste. Ergo, you are relatively young. Am I right about that?”
She releases your wrists and removes the gag. You take a shuddery breath of relief.
“I don’t care about humans.”
“I’m trying very hard to settle on a reason not to kill you dear, answer the question.”
You growl lightly, but your hearts not in it. She’s really got you stuck here.
“Fine, it’s been a year. What of it?”
She nods, looking self-satisfied.
“I would like to help you.”
“Help me with what?”
“Help ensure you never have to become a jaded killer.”
“And how the fuck do you intend to do that?”
“You’re a beast. All beasts can be tamed with a bit of perseverance.”
Your eye twitches.
“I’m gonna kill you.”
“Unlikely.”
She stands up, casually brushing herself off. Then she drops a paper card onto your prone form.
“Your options as they stand are simple. Accept my help, or don’t. If you accept, come to that address and we can talk. If not.”
She gives you a long look.
“I do wish you luck trying to resist your condition on your own. There will be consequences if you fail to.”
She turns her back, and takes a step away. Rage rises fast in your chest.
“Or. Follow me on this. Option three.”
You lunge at her like a bolt of pure violence, pure power, faster than any human has a right to see. Fangs bared.
You don’t even scratch her. She catches you without even looking, flips you over her shoulder in smooth, practiced action, slamming you down hard on the solid concrete floor. Her heel presses into your chest.
“I’m not afraid of you, little beast. I hope you manage to understand that much at least. It is vital to your long term survival.”
And she leaves you stunned on the ground. You wait for a minute before crawling to your feet. You’ve lost your appetite.
You do take the address card though.
~~~
It’s a couple days later, while you’re stopping in every convenience store you see, looking for a good meal. There’s these nagging thought in the back of your head.
What if you do kill someone?
What if she actually can help?
No, you think while pretending to browse a magazine rack. She probably just wants to get you somewhere private to kill you.
But, why give you the chance to run at all?
That thought carries you all the way to a small house off the last stop of the train.
~~~
You’re sitting on a couch feeling like you’re waiting for a punchline. The girl from the other day is eying you and drinking coffee.
“I’m glad to see that you came,” she finally says.
“Yeah fuck you.”
“Can’t help but be aggressive, can you.”
“I’m hungry, okay?”
“Have you eaten since we last saw each other?”
You glare at her. She smells really good.
“No.”
“That’s good. You’re going to have to get used to not gorging yourself.”
“I’m hungry.”
“Then you can feed on me.”
You can feel yourself suddenly salivating. You swallow.
“Why?”
She sets down her coffee.
“I want to prove a theory. Right now, you are a beast, barely able to restrain yourself from going across the table at me. I believe I care rehabilitate you. Train you well enough that you will be able to be a person again.”
A difficult to identify feeling runs up your spine with a shudder.
“And how the fuck do you intend to do that?”
She opens a small box on the table between you and her. It has a black leather animal collar in it.
“You will stay here. You are only going to drink my blood from now on. And we’ll get you to a place where you can safely be around other people again.”
You sneer.
“I could drain you in a minute flat.”
“Moderation is something I intend to teach you. You will settle for what little I allow you.”
That strange feeling is settling into your chest now. She’s so. Sure of herself. It’s weirdly compelling.
“I’ll fucking starve. I need more blood than that.”
“I think we will have to learn to differentiate need from want, won’t we.”
Your eyes dart around as you consider making a run for it.
“And if I say no, what? You kill me?”
“I will not. As long as you resist the urge to kill, I believe you may yet be rehabilitated.”
You shift in your seat.
“Why the collar? This some kind of horny pervert shit?”
She laughs politely.
“A tool to help you remember your place. There is a silver core under the leather. You won’t be able to remove it on your own.”
“Sounds like horny pervert shit to me.”
“Do you want it to be?”
Her point blank question hits you like a train. You’ve never been so happy to have so little blood in your system you can’t blush.
“S-shut up.”
She folds her hands in her lap. You’re having trouble thinking straight. You’re so hungry.. You just.. Want to..
You let out a low growl without realizing. Your fangs ache. Her eyebrow arches.
“I think you’re a good girl. But I don’t know how long you’ll stay that way without guidance.”
Her words get through to you a little, and you take a deep breath to recenter. You almost jumped at her again. Was it always this hard to go a couple days eating?
“Fuck,” you spit in a low voice.
“Something wrong?”
“I’ll do it,” you practically whisper.
“Speak up dear.”
You growl and snap “I’ll do it! Whatever! Fuck you!”
Her expression remains a bemused neutral.
“I want to eat.”
She pushes the box and the collar a little close to you. You can almost taste her pulse.
“At your leisure.”
“I want to eat first.”
“No.”
She doesn’t blink as you stare her down. You make a frustrated noise and fumble with the collar. It fits around your throat nicely, tight enough, but not so tight it makes swallowing hard. It clicks into place. Your fingers brush the keyhole.
“Allow me.”
Smoothly and calmly, she takes a seat beside you. Her proximity makes your breath come out in a shudder. She tilts your head with such an ease even you forget that you’re a ravenous monster for a moment. Tiny key in the lock. Another click.
“There we go.”
You’re shaking with the exertion required not to snap at her.
“Now that you’ve got your kicks, I want to eat.”
“Ask.”
“What?”
“Ask me for permission.”
You stare at her incredulously.
“F-fuck you!”
“You aren’t drinking a drop of blood unless I give you express permission.”
It’s too much finally. She’s so close you can feel the warmth of the blood pumping barely under the surface of her soft skin. You feel your vision narrowing as you lose control, snarling and grabbing and-
“GRRRAAAFUCK!!”
She drives the point of a silver ring into your chest so hard that you’d be bleeding if you had enough to spare. You retreat to the other end of the couch with a whimper. A whimper? The fuck is going on with you?
“Not. A. Drop.” Her voice is deadly calm.
The pain snapped you back again, but you can feel the almost panicked thirst bubbling away.
“Fine! Please!”
“Apologize for trying to bite me first.”
“Are you serious?”
She slaps you, and the loop of her ring sizzles in the brief moment it touches your skin.
“I said apologize.”
Your voice comes out in a whine.
“I’m sorry.. Can I please feed now?”
She nods slowly.
“Good girl. I know it’s hard right now, but it will get easier.”
You perk up. Fuck you didn’t think you were this easy. She starts to undo the clasp of one of her silver bracelets.
“I like neck better.”
“You’ll take what I give you.”
You must look a little crestfallen, because she sighs.
“It’s much easier to pull you off of my arm than my throat. Behave yourself and I’ll let you drink from my neck another time.”
She holds out her arm and points to a spot higher up. There are scars and old faded bite marks all over her arm. You’re too hungry to think much of it in the moment. You grip the wrist and elbow, then look up at her.
“Go ahead.”
Your fangs are in her in a flash. A messy explosion of hot blood in your mouth and down your chin. She hisses, in pain edged with a little bit of excitement. You can feel her pulse quicken, her breathing deepen despite her best efforts to keep it even. Your eyes dart to her face, which she is trying very hard to control. Not immune to your venom then, just resistant.
You barely manage that thought. Most of you is caught up in luxuriously lapping at the blood pumping out of her, swallowing with a heavy reverence. She lets out a gasp as you bite again, a fresh wound, more blood, you want every last drop, you’ve never been hungrier, you want to drink until there’s nothing left and then find another and another and-
Her other hand hooks your collar and pulls firmly. Your eyes flicker open, but you don’t otherwise react. Teeth still dug deep.
“Release,” she breathes with more arousal in her tone than intended.
You don’t react until she claps her bracelet around your wrist.
With a animal screech you throw yourself off of her, squabbling at the sizzling silver with burning fingertips, writhing in sudden pain as she stands over you.
“I didn’t expect you to be such a messy girl,” she muses as she wraps her arm in a towel. You’re in tears, helplessly fighting the bracelet.
“Give me your hand.”
You hold it out with pained whimpering sobs. She pops the clasp, and takes it off. Instantly the pain becomes a dull ache. You curl up, clutching your wrist.
She eyes the blood speckles on the couch and tisks. Then tosses you the towel.
“Clean yourself up. I’ll get something for the couch. Next time, try not to spill any. It’s a waste, I’m sure you can agree.”
You nod nervously. Her hard look softens a little. When she reaches out a hand you flinch, only to find her gently brushing her fingers through your hair. You haven’t been touched in such a simple, affectionate way in a very long time. You stare at her with some kind of awe.
“You did better than I expected. Don’t be hard on yourself.”
And she walks away to get cleaning supplies. As soon as she’s out of sight you start wiping the leftover blood off your chin and licking it off your fingers.
What the fuck have you gotten yourself into?
