0.9.0 Update thoughts.
🕑 Added 2025-02-16 02:15:35 +0000 UTCThis is probably the largest updates i did. Alot of things happened in the last few months and it felt like i would never get this major update released. I still feel like i could have done more with the update but slightly proud of how far along things have went.
One thing i'm not exactly proud of is the amount of schedule slippage happening this update cycle. my updates have been almost consistently been taking almost 3 weeks instead of the 2 like they should. As explained before i could extend the amount of time i take for each update as clearly they need more time. Even going as far as making a "release whenever their ready" type of system. issue is, i kinda need the deadlines. What ends up happening is because of the deadlines i do a bunch of work right before an update comes out. as i'm pressured to actually release something on time. But what ends up happening is that i need to push release back as i'd rather not release something incomplete. i do this repeatedly each day the update is late. Which is why i don't signal in advance when there is a delay. Its a terrible problem. So i'm left with having a deadline that i meet 20% of the time.
Either way, my plans for next update. As usual it'll come out in 3 weeks instead of 2. due to needing to dedicate a week for bug fixes after the last major update. and the update probably won't be for transformation dungeon. as i like to work on a smaller project to give myself a break. it's either going to be a small game like transformation card battler. or its going to be something "story based" i randomly got into my head. Afterwards i'm going to be working on adding more NPC's and items. So yeah, stay tooned for that.
