ASTG: Chapter 11
🕑 Added 2022-05-12 22:08:22 +0000 UTCA new day came, and Raoh found a motel to stay in. And luckily, there were a few shady places where he can gamble.
He doesn’t take a long time to double his money. And since he had learnt his lesson, he knew better to keep his gains limited. Sometimes bluff, pretend to lose before the grand come back.
Well, compared to the average citizen, he was quite wealthy.
Now, he has all the food and the time he needs.
He had decided to stay and train here for a while until the White Lotus Order finds him.
He was in no hurry to change the world to suit him. But he was in hurry to gain enough strength to stay in.
“Okay.” Raoh put two huge boxes of one cubic meter in size and were linked with an iron pipe. He was at the river, with a huge amount of food next to him.
With these boxes, Raoh can increase the weights to two metric tons. The classical trick is when you can’t find weights for yourself.
He was just done training his legs, which were shaking. But that didn’t last as his healing factor started kicking in. Raoh quickly started eating, to his fullest. His muscles tensed, shrunk, and then expended.
It has been three days since he came here, and he should say that he is happy that no one is bothering him. Not even June, whom he had humiliated a few days ago.
Raoh shook his head. There was enough food for a few more workouts. He went to the boxes, and he filled them with more water, 1/3 of their original size. Meaning that the combined weight was 600 kilos. He put the pipe on his shoulders and started lifting it. It felt difficult, but he knew that this feeling will vanish as fast as it comes.
After three sets of training his legs and calves, his body adapted to the weight, and he could lift it as easy as he could. All of this training was meant for his body to reach enough level to do his favourite technique. Shave.
The downside was that the more intense his training, the more food he needed.
This time, he finished the rest of the food and nothing was left.
He lay down on the ground, “I feel my progress is slow.” He muttered as he stood up. “And still didn’t find those guys. Guess I need to make my appearance known.”
Raoh jumped, his body flew a few meters up in the air before landing.
“Waaa!” someone screamed.
Raoh turned his head, feeling someone hidden. He squatted, and he tried to use Shave. He had already mastered that technique in his previous life.
And since ever his body got stronger, he could access more memories. But he didn’t.
The person from his previous life was a womaniser, and he had plenty of beautiful curvy women living with him.
All of them were tall and in perfect shape. One Piece world was a paradise full of pretty women.
Accessing those memories hurt him, on an emotional level, since he knows that he isn’t that person anymore.
With his newfound physical strength, he kicked on the ground many times that his legs could barely be seen. Gaining momentum, his figure vanished into thin air, and he appeared a few tens meters ahead. It seemed like he teleport.
Raoh appeared in front of the guy who screamed.
“River Rat,” Raoh muttered once he saw the eye patch.
“You…” That guy was scared to his heart as he fell on his butt.
The Ripper was in front of him.
“What’s up? You followed me here?” Raoh smiled slightly. Apparently, ever since he escaped from that town a few days ago, his identity was doomed to be known.
“I… I was just changing air.” River Rat turned his eye to the left. "I didn't know you were here."
“And why did you sneak up here?”
“To take a piss… geez man, your jump really scared me.”
Raoh put his hand on his chin, examined the man who is lying one hundred per cent, and smiled.
Maybe… Maybe he can use this man to spread the rumours.
“You know who I am by now, don’t you.”
“Everyone in that town knows. You made a big fuss when you fought everyone.”
“They started first.” Raoh stretched his arms. “They are welcomed for a rematch.”
His body was no longer skinny. His muscles were full now, harder, and had more power in them.
“Please don’t chop me.”
“Why would I?” Raoh said. “After all, you aren’t working with the Fire Nation. I only rip them into parts. Too little parts that it would be satisfying to watch.” He smirked, making the man’s heart almost jump off his chest.
He knew by saying that, he will state that he is against the Fire Nation.
Meaning any rebellion against the Fire Nation will try to find him.
River Rat nodded slightly and smiled. “That’s amazing. You are a righteous hero—”
“Cut the boot licking,” Raoh said. “Now, you can just go away.”
River Rat nodded, turned, and started running away.
Raoh followed him with his eyes. He knew that this kind of scum can’t be trusted. Raoh didn’t forget what River Rat said when they met first. He said that a few bounty hunters offered him to scout and discovered his hideout, but he wasn’t crazy to face someone like that.
Now that he appeared again, it was too obvious why he is here. Everyone knows Raoh’s face, but no one knows his location. Later, he will be found.
“I better get a weapon soon.” He went to the river, took his clothes off, took a shower, and then he wore a new set which was hidden behind a rock.
