OP GTTT: Chapter 229
🕑 Added 2022-03-15 00:21:16 +0000 UTCIt was dawn.
The world government elite units were moving in the dark, in their attempt to steal Tesero’s wealth while putting the blame on Josh.
Usually, the World Government would never send this unit and keep it in their army.
Every one of them was very precious, talented, and hard to train.
Stepping in front of a huge metal closet, a man with a short sword stepped in.
He unsheathed his sword, and then he sheathed it again.
When the cling sound echoed, the thick steel seemed to get heavy. The door got heavier and heavier, and then, it was compressed to the ground. What was revealed was a huge pile of money and jewels.
Hundreds of Billions.
This should fix the economical problem and resort to the balance between the rich and the poor.
“Good one Issho.” Said someone with a sword on his back. He turned and waved his hand. “Okay. Collect the money.”
Few shadows moved at unimaginable speed. They collected the money in swiftness that the human eye can’t follow. In a few minutes, Tesoro's wealth was collected.
Suddenly, everyone raised their guards.
“As I’ve said, Mister Tesero, they are trying to steal your money.” Echoed a familiar voice.
From the gates of this floor, entered two figures. One of them was really long, and it belonged to the owner of this place.
On the other hand, there was Josh, the most famous man in the world currently. He was having his hands in his pockets as he was looking at the men in hats.
Once they made eye contact with him, he smiled at them, confidently.
But Tesoro wasn’t smiling. He seemed to be pissed off.
“You little punks, thinking that you can come here and take my money.” He raised his hand and flicked with his fingers. “You want to die.”
Josh clicked his tongue. He knew that Tesoro will die when clashing with these guys. Any one of them is stronger than him. However, as it seems, Tesoro may have the advantage with his gold ability.
An electro spark left his fingers.
On the legs of the guys, gold started spreading, freezing their movements, and it seemed to be going to turn them into status.
The gold came from the gold splashes that everyone in the city are exposed to.
It makes everyone in Tesoro's control.
Josh suddenly grabbed Tesoro from his arm and pulled him to the other side.
“What are you…”
“No need to thank me,” Josh muttered.
In Tesoro's original spot, appeared a man sheathing his sword.
“Mr Gambler. We aren’t here for you, so please stand aside.” The agent said.
Tesoro realised that he would have gotten cut if not for Josh.
Raising his hand, Tesero summoned the gold around the city, it started surrounding him, growing in size and forming a golden giant around him.
The ceiling cracked as the 30 meters long giant stood up, looking down.
But all of the sudden, a red laser beam pierced the giant, creating a hole in its chest.
The golden giant turned to see another man floating.
“Laser Laser, Logia Devil Fruit.” The man declared as he opened his hands and started shooting beams. Tesoro started dodging, realising that he isn’t an advantage against such a Logia user. In this case, he has to use Haki to reflect the beams and keep the gold from melting. But the gold golem is too big for him to be able to cover it with Haki.
Knowing that Tesoro is only delaying the inevitable — his defeat — Josh decided to take this as a chance and take his money away.
He looked at the people, and he read their minds. They reached their pockets and grabbed a few tubes that contained water. They sprayed it above their head, and the Gold that was around them started vanishing. They seem to know how Tesero’s ability work.
“So, you are called the World Army,” Josh said smiling. “As you have seen, I have few Poneglyph for sell, and if you want them, tell your bosses.”
Josh then turned his head. One of the guys seemed to be familiar. ‘Issho, a future Admiral…’
Issho took a step forward, slightly unsheathing his sword before sheathing it.
The ground started cracking under Josh’s leg. The gravity seemed to increase almost hundreds of times under his leg.
“You guys have nice Devil Fruits.” Josh smiled under the pressure. “I’ve changed my mind. I’ll get it all.”
[Ding. The system has a new Gamble]
[Defeat them using one of your Devil Fruits.....
....]
Josh didn’t seem to get interested in seeing the rewards, because he didn’t want to waste time doing a challenge when he could simply win. Devil Fruits are rewards on their own. Not to mention, 500 Billion Berries. There is no point in seeking rewards from the system when the money is a reward itself.
Growing in size, Josh became 3 meters long. Devilish wings spread on his back, red scales covered him with a few layers of black scales forming an armour above him.
A great Devil Sword appeared on his back.
Spinning in his place, Josh took the sword and waved it.
“More More: Speed x 225.”
Darkness spread quickly from the sword, and it filled the room, catching everyone.
The gravity field that had been annoying Josh vanished. The golden golem lost life, and the laser man lost his power.
Josh put everyone’s Devil Fruit off.
They couldn’t use their Devil Fruits, and their senses had been blinded by the darkness.
If one thought of it, it’s the best time to make a finishing attack.
Josh put his sword on his back and took a Kung Fu stance, his arms turning pitch black.
Even without his Devil Fruits, Josh is considered one of the fastest people in the One Piece world. He is sure that he can be the fastest. He had monstrous talents, and his mastery over Shave — his very first technique — is insane.
But better safe than be sorry. He increased his speed with his Demon transformation and More-More fruit, making him 2250 faster than he already is.
*Swish* *Swish*
The dark fog vanished, and Josh appeared in the middle.
Everyone got hit by his insane strong fists or got slashed by his devilish claws.
Moreover, Josh had made sure to be precise about the spots he was hitting.
The agents started falling, unaware of the source of the pain. They lifted their heads, looking at Josh, who stood above them like a demon. Josh summoned his Demon Vessel, and he opened his hand.
“Everyone, allow me to introduce you to Gluttony. It allows me to devour anything, and I decided to devour your energy.”
From his hand, a black hole appeared. Josh appeared above everyone and touched them. Whenever he passes by someone, they would lose their energy, barely having enough to breathe.
Josh then placed the vessel in the middle. Everyone’s eyes shone, light moving to the vessel. Josh put his hand in once everyone lost consciousness, and he pulled a group of Devil Fruits.
“Four Devil Fruits. This one should be the one to control Gravity. This turn someone into a laser, and this one belongs to Tesero… and this one, I dunno.”
Josh mumbled as he put them in his storage.
he then turned to the money and the gold. He smiled as he opened his hands. "Come to papa."
