OP GTTT: Chapter 239
🕑 Added 2022-04-05 01:36:11 +0000 UTCThe marines had settled in one of the lands of Big Mom, taking over it very quickly with the power of the Admirals.
Now, all they have to do is to wait until Josh and Kaido’s groups finish fighting.
Kizaru was sitting with a hat on his head. Garp was drinking some juices. Aokiji was lying on the ground while staring at the clouds, his eyes were sharp. He was thinking of Akainu, the dead comrades, and how he will achieve vengeance for him.
Sengoku turned his head. “Alright. Eat enough food. We won’t have to attack until a few days later.”
They were confident in this. Given Josh’s power, which they took from the admirals, and Kaido’s, they were sure it will be that long.
-x-X-x-
Josh was flying, flapping his wing, hiding above one cloud. He stared at the clueless marines, who were taking their time.
In their scheme of taking him down, they lost the element of surprise to him.
Josh smirked.
His enemies handed themselves to him on a silver platter.
Part of this could be credited to the luck Baccarat had given him.
‘Luckily, I have refused the gamble from the system.’
Josh flicked his finger.
Few of his demons floated next to him.
Wrath, Pride, Sloth and Gluttony were here.
Each one of them was created from his power and their size increased by 225 times. They look small now, only
The largest one of them is Wrath, which initially was a sea of flames as big as an island, and then increased 225 times.
Then comes Pride, a pure light form. And then the rest.
Josh flicked his fingers.
“Alright boys, unleash your powers.”
These boys are the product of all of his Devil Fruits. Josh was sure they are more dangerous than ancient powers.
“Wrath, you start,” Josh smirked as he slowly descended from the sky. “We gotta finish this before the dinner.”
Meanwhile, down.
The marines with a high level of Observation Haki could feel something a few kilometres above them.
No, that thing was making a very strong presence.
Sengoku, the admirals, the vice admirals and the rear ones lifted their heads.
“He is here. Already…” Sengoku was confused when he saw Josh’s figure. Although it was small, he could recognise it.
Kizaru wasted no time and lifted his finger, aiming a laser beam at him. The beam flew toward Josh, who slapped it with his hand away.
“It has been a long time no see,” Josh said as he was a hundred meters above them, his arms opened.
It wasn’t that long time since he saw them. It was almost two weeks.
They barely have forgotten about him killing Akainu. Josh could see in the eyes of the thousands of marine elites below him.
Once Josh’s words were finished, the heat of the atmosphere raised.
Some of the marines’ jaws started dropping. The sky behind Josh turned red. Something like the rain was falling. It was the ashes of something. The clouds above them were burning, and the blue sky was being replaced by a very hot crimson flame.
“Yeah, it has been a long time indeed,” Kizaru said with a low voice as he turned into a light beam. Appearing next to Josh, he formed himself, with a sword made of light. And with the speed of light, he slashed. Josh smirked, almost not taking him seriously, and he summoned his Great Devil Sword, parrying Kizaru’s attack.
“Have you been sleeping well?” Josh asked in a low tone.
“I have been doing what you asked,” Kizaru said as he pressed. “Healing my wounds, getting strong. And now, it’s time to settle this.”
Josh didn’t know if he should say it. He didn’t feel like giving Kizaru emotional damage.
After his battle with the admirals, Josh had gotten a few hundreds of times stronger.
“And how much is that?” He asked.
“Let’s head away. I don’t want to kill my comrades.” Kizaru said.
When the dark fog was about to unleash Josh’s sword, a yellow glint was unleashed from Kizaru’s eyes. Josh tilted his head back a bit, flipped backwards, and kicked. Kizaru escaped quickly, given that he could see the future and that he was so fast.
Josh landed on the ground, faced by the admirals, the candidates, and the rest of the marines.
Sengoku, turning into a giant Buddha status, took a step forward. “Where is Kaido?”
“I’ve already killed him,” Josh said, flipping the sword in his hand and looking at it. He then pointed his sword at Sengoku. “I cut him into pieces.”
His words fell like a bomb to the marines that they almost lost their weapons. Did he just say, he killed Kaido?
“Now, I’m wondering, what y’all doing in my territory,” Josh said with a quiet voice.
Sengoku was still trying to progress what happened. Kaido, is dead, already. It hadn’t been an hour since the beast pirates attacked, and their leader is dead. He couldn’t believe it, he couldn’t accept that fact simply.
“I know what you are thinking of. It can’t be that simple.” Josh smiled. “But it can. With Money, the process isn’t slow progress.”
That’s how Josh is getting stronger. He doesn’t need to risk his life when working out. He only does it when he needs money. And apparently, the stronger he gets, the more money he makes.
“I don’t believe you!” Sengoku said, taking a step forward that made the ground shake. Around his hand, a shockwave was formed, and he palmed toward Josh.
Josh smirked and extended his hand forward. A sphere made of shockwave surrounded his hand, as he used the Six King Gun. Red lightning started wrapping it.
“Die!” Sengoku yelled, unleashing the shockwave.
“No, you.” Josh unleashed the six king gun, and his shockwave blew up. As he used his More More Devil Fruit power, its size, with the Conqueror Haki, increased by 225 times.
Sengoku’s attack was cancelled. A shock was drawn on his face, and his feet couldn’t keep himself on the ground. His eyes went back, as he lost consciousness, and his body flew to the sky. The fleet admiral couldn’t handle the shockwave, nor the Haki. All of his organs were destroyed internally.
The thousands of the marines behind him crossed their arms, as the shockwave included all of them. Some of them had blood, some felt numb and fell to the ground, and some used their Haki to stop the attack.
“Ops. I forgot that I was in my demon form.” Josh said simply. If he is in his demon form, it means that his attack was 2250 times stronger than usual.
He lifted his hand and flicked on his fingers.
Beams of light started falling from the sky, descending on the marines. Those without Haki couldn’t dodge, and those with advanced one could. Soon enough, a giant mountain-sized golem, made of pure light descended. He was holding a big sword made of light.
The marines put their hands in front of their faces, covering themselves from light.
Next to him, another golem, made of fire, and ten times larger, formed from the crimson fire that was covering the sky.
But that wasn’t all, another one was there. It didn’t have a solid form, but it was made of cold air. “You guys shouldn’t wake me up.”
Josh stared at the marines. “So, how do we end this up.”
“Gambler San… this is scary.” Came the voice of Kizaru. Josh lifted his head, seeing that Kizaru appeared above Pride. “But have you forgotten that Logia users can control the elements as well?” He patted Pride, and his movement stopped suddenly.
“Hey, ant. Leave me or I’ll smack you like a fat aunt.” Pride said, trying to move, but he couldn’t. “Disrespectful!”
Josh let a sigh, and then he furrowed his eyebrows. Someone is trying to get annoying.
While he was in the middle of showing how pissed off he is, a few ice shreds gathered behind him, forming Aokiji who was trying to touch his shoulder.
“You’re asking for death. Wrath, burn all of them.” Josh said.
“Yes, master. Let’s see how they handle the fire that can burn the magma.” Wrath’s physical body started floating, heading down to the island that was smaller than him, yet held the marines.
It’s not that he likes to kill them since they only do their job.
But since they are trying to kill him, no matter what, there is no reason to spare him.
Morally, one may think that he should spar with the marines since they have families and do only their job.
But that’s just stupid.
The marines will kill your family just to kill you.
No matter how good your enemies’ intent is, you only look to the results.
Besides, everyone will die, now, or ten years later.
Josh took a quick step to the side, making Aokiji’s hand pass. The next second, he lifted his sword and slammed it down.
Aokiji didn’t know what happened. But in the next second, his upper half slid on his hips and fell down.
Josh extended his hand to Aokiji. “Sorry, not sorry.” Wrath flames left Josh’s arm and swallowed Aokiji’s, turning him into ashes.
“Everyone! Escape! Go to the sea!” Garp started yelling while looking at the marines behind him as the fire from the sky was heading to them. “Vices, take everyone and escape!”
