The game show with the letters and numbers games is called Countdown, which is on in the afternoons week days (it was a favourite of students back in the day). There is a comedy version, which is what you saw, called 8 out of 10 cats do Countdown.

I first saw Bob in the early 90's with long time comedy partner Vic Reeves in their off the wall TV shows. 8 out of 10 cats does countdown is a good show and Carrot in a box was from it. Would love to say I was enjoying the weather but the Sun doesn't like me, I get heat exhaustion, but I did enjoy the cold beers I had yesterday afternoon. Hope you are enjoying the hot weather Megan.
