As a millennial who's been around with the internet since the late 90's I cut pretty much all social media platforms off just over a year ago. Only thing I check now is Facebook every couple of weeks just to check in with distant family every now and then if they reach out. Feel all the better for it and it was almost like undergoing an actual detox cutting off from all the BS and fake front head fuckery that such platforms are filled with.
