Definitely do it! Nothing stops you from re-writing it years later once your skills got better.
It's funny that as you're posting these, I am watching you on YouTube at the same time lol. I've been trying to finish my cover on "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence. So, to make it powerful and emotional, your videos are helping me with that. Even if I don't get it right away, I will with practice.
