is there a version without the magnet hole? Its very weak in that area if you dont want to add a magnet

Magnets come in different grades. You generally want N42 as a starter point and N52's are extremely strong. Most magnets on amazon are below N42 strength and are very weak. I used N52's in these and they can hold a piece of cardboard to my fridge. i thought i'd save a few dollars and get 10x2 rather than 10x2.3 magnets.... i don't know if that's the major difference, but the frogs at 100% are extremely heavy and immediately fell off the fridge, crashed on the floor and it's leg popped off. I wish it wasn't so dense so the magnets would work but at the same time i wish it was more dense for durability... If there was a solid version included (with no magnet holes) i could easily scale it down a little and try out a smaller magnet size to see if that works

These are so cute! I want to print so many variations!! However if I adjust the size then the magnet holes become problematic.... Are you able to release them without the magnet hole additions so I can insert my own magnet size with the adjustments in resizing

I have the same question. I believe they will work, but would like the creator to confirm. The ones linked for the spider model are 10 x 2.6mm and the one linked in this model are 10 x 2.3mm. I opened one of the Bambu Labs versions of this model and sliced it and it shows a 3mm high open cylinder for the magnet. Would be really nice to just use the same exact size magnet in all of these designs.

Can you use 10x3mm magnets in these and the spiders? Or do I need to order the ones you have linked?

It should not. The Bambu printers have a magnetic bed which should pull the magnets down and keep them securely seated. I’ve printed a bunch of all of my magnet designs on the X1C, A1-Mini, and H2D and never had the extruder lift a magnet out.

Do you know of any issues with the x1c pulling magnets out when it’s printing as I have just checked and the print head will Attack the magnet and not sure if when trying to print over the magnet if it will pull the magnet up and out ? Or do you put a bit of glue in then the magnet?
