Technically it's a westrrn anime, as I said it's in the same vein as Avatar the last Airbender, and Legend of Korra. In the end it is western, but it is also an anime.

Ontop of the picture dramas theres also a bunch of audio-only episodes has well. This is one of the few series if youre a big fan theres thankfully A LOT of supplementary content, especially since this show has no manga source material

You can also take the way it is being said in Japanese as C-tsu, and tsu after a consonant is used in Japanese the way a double consonant is used in English. Thus getting us to CC when written in English.

Oh No! Thanks for fact checking. Interesting cuz when I watched the sub, it sounded like “SeeSee” and I was confused why they changed the name in the dub. I’m not the only one who has had this wrong conclusion. I guess how they pronounce C2 with a Japanese accent sounds like “SeeSee” to me.

Many animes like to show us strong male bonds between it's main characters. It is rare for an anime to depict strong female bonds. With Code Geass this is the case, showing us the strong sisterly bond Cornelia has for Euphy.

after learning Lloyd is voiced by Liam O'Brien, I continue to put in my two-cents and say you guys should really watch the legend of Vox machina, It has a whole host of famous VAs, so you know the voice acting is top notch. The story is amazing, the animation is similar to Avatar/Legend of Korra, I will continue to put my vote in for Vox machina, much love to you both.

Edit: I’ve discovered this fun fact is untrue. Leaving it up for anyone who was mistaken like I was. Fun fact: In Japanese C.C’s name is pronounced “SeeSee”. The name is supposed to be a weird name. It doesn’t work in English since some people are actually called “SeeSee”. I guess they changed it in the dub to “C2” to keep the weirdness.
