Where's the update?
🕑 Added 2025-08-11 15:49:26 +0000 UTCHello everyone,
I didn't realize it's been already 9 days since my last post so even if I wasn't supposed to post anything before the next release, I thought it would be better to simply answer the question above. Oh, and by the way, thank you very much for the comments about my previous post. All your comments were understanding and nice, so that felt really heartwarming to see you being comprehensive even if you were disappointed at the cancellation of some of the content :/
So, what about the next update? The answer is: it's not ready. As I mentioned last time, Peak hadn't finished the single new image for this update. He finished it. But Carlis, the colorist, got sick, and delayed the whole thing for several days. Unfortunately, at this very moment, the concerned image isn't ready yet (and I can't even say when it'll be because I'm waiting for answer from Carlis.)
Hopefully, the update should roll out somewhere during this week.
I'll take that chance to explain you quickly what I'm planning to do after this update. Considering I'll have a good chunk of my time taken because of the movings and because I don't know what will be the progress in terms of art, I'll start adding Ayame content after this update, even if it's content without H scenes. There are lots of things to do beforehand (notably reimporting all the maps to make a version proper to the character played (you won't meet the same characters in shared maps if you're playing Yuki or Ayame), but also creating the new maps, doing the new skill tree etc...) so these are things I can work on without art.
My goal being to have this update released at the end of September. So basically, in 7 days max, I'll roll out v0.36, and at the end of September, to celebrate Ayame's addition, the game will move to v0.5 (since I'll be technically halfway through the post-game content).
Now, there's another thing I'd like to work on during that time. Since it's pretty hard for me to focus on a game update with so many holes in my schedule, I will take a bit of my time to go back to my previous games. I'm mainly talking about SoV2 and The Hunter. For these two games, I'd like to do the following: play them again once to see if there are any left bugs I can still correct, try and add last-minute QoL elements (I've already started adding some in SoV2 like a save feature before the dining with the boss of Atsushi, or having facesets showing during the final conversation between Ayame, Yuki and Anaëlle) and who knows, if I'm REALLY motivated (but keep in mind the chances for it to happen are not very high because the game is a HUGE mess in terms of stuff to check) maybe add a couple of the deleted scenes for SoV2.
The ultimate goal is to release an updated version of these 2 games that is even cleaner and better than the current ones, have them updated (or uploaded in the case of The Hunter) on DLsite and at the same time, provide uncensoring patches on Blue Axolotl site so that buying my games on DLsite doesn't become the lesser of two evils. I'll also take that chance to lower the price of SoV2 considering the game has been on the site for 4 years now.
Of course, for those of you who have the games either through a patroning site or bought on another site (Gumroad/Booth), don't worry, I'll make patches for these games in the Discord channel. But yeah, it's going to take a bit of time so if I have to wait for the art for SoVR, might as well work on those specific elements I've been delaying forever.
That's all for now. I'll see you back as soon as the update is ready.
See ya o/

Normally the order of things on Yuki's side shouldn't change (even if it takes longer). So once everything Keizo related is done, we'll finish Akiko content, then Emiri.

I’m already excited for Ayame’s content, whether it’s h or not, and also for the update. I hope the future update for Akiko’s content doesn’t take too long
