Revised Belt Clamp for Y axis rail upgrade.
🕑 Added 2024-09-12 02:24:51 +0000 UTCThe original belt clamp I made (when doing a Y linear rail upgrade) were fine for acceleration under 12K, but had them fail prematurely when testing 16~18K
So these have much better clamping force and a loop for total peace of mind.
You don't have to swap them right away, but would recommend you print a spare set at least if you plan on testing higher acceleration, or printing higher temp material
PETG or better (no PLA)
two heat inserts (M3, 4mm long, 4.6mm or 5mm OD)
two M3x12 screws
Has a hole on one side if you have excess belt
