I'm glad this was able to help you! Blending layers are -super- helpful. Without them my art just wouldn't be what it is.
Awesome! I rarely mess around with layer effects because I honestly have no idea how to utilise the properly when I work. Just for experimentation sake I tried the Linear Burn/Overlay pile up you showed here on something I'm working on now and it pulled it all together so nicely! Thank you for putting this together!
