Yes the fur did not make sense to rig to the body since it would look crazy with sims moving if attached to arms. You can use bb.moveobjects or T.O.O.L. mod in-game to get it in the position you would like for poses or alternatively for render with it in Blender. We didn't want to exclude it from the Sims 4 release since we liked to piece but unfortunately it is not as compatible with placements as Second Life ❤️
