I spent a lot of time creating the MOCs needed for this video, and hopefully this attention to detail is appreciated! It was a fun challenge to tackle, and I could find myself building more things in this scale in the future.
Starting with this video, I'll also be rolling out the OnlySlugs shoutouts. I'm mostly prioritizing folks that have confirmed their shoutout name + pronunciation first, but I will get to everyone as the summer progresses. I'm choosing to do about a dozen or so each episode, as this seems to be the approach that will work for the most number of people.
I'm still toying around with the idea of presenting the names of ALL the OnlySlugs subscribers at the end of each video, (while highlighting a dozen or so), but opted not to do that here. I've had a few folks message me saying that they wish to stay anonymous, so until I hear back from EVERYONE, I cannot move forward with this idea - lest I accidentally leak someone's name without their wishes.
There might be ways to work around this, (like only putting the names of folks who HAVE confirmed with me on screen), but I'll focus on ironing that out later in the summer. For now, I want to get things rolling and get some videos complete!
Again, it's a good problem to have, but the high volume of Patreon subscribers means that the upfront time sink of coordinating everything with everyone has been immense, (I really can't understate how many hours it has taken!). I'm hoping that once things get rolling, it'll start to snowball in a positive way.

I also found it quite great how the name reading worked out! It was niceto see you commenting on the people and I wouldn't have expected that you would recognize/remember my Instagram by the name. Thank you for the kind comments on my fotography :-)

Delightful! And the commentary on names makes it feel so much more Slugger than just reading a list of names like so many YouTubers do
