Slugger was ever concerned with his toys getting dusty! As such, I've been spending some time today disassembling and washing these old sets - recognize the colour scheme here?
Anyways, as you can see, a salad spinner and a fan were involved; looks like I'm taking my own advice on washing LEGO!
Maybe it's not such bad advice after all?

My experiences confirm your cleaning methods to be good for LEGO pieces! Color scheme definitely implies Dino Attack/2010 Fire Hammer (my brother got the Attack version as a boy)

I'm actually thinking of digging out my set 6155, Deep Sea Predator, from the Lego bin, clean it, and rebuild it. I bought a salad spinner to aid in the cleaning of said pieces. XD
