Not to be the guy to say “well after the fact” I did want a STROUGER Strad but it was a great campaign.

I worked at an elementary school where the janitor had an "I ❤️ Ass" bumper sticker prominently placed

I got my ass handed to me as Strahd. Maybe three rounds at most. I tried to do Great Invisibility to not be seen, but I had a player cast wall of fire and I was pretty much done.

the creepy doll conversation reminds me of something my mom (who loves horror movies) always says: “there’s nothing scarier than scary children” and I think that extends to dolls

Peaky blinders but teasey danglers

a 1953 short story, by Lynn Venable! women-written science fiction is so often a real hit

I feel caldwell where you just deep dive into a module and then want to keep running it. I'm always at the ready to bust out Strixhaven

You guys could make an entire sketch show out of sketch ideas pitches on short rests. The dramatic stair push ending with the person just being a little hurt? Brilliant. And of course, the “Peter Pan helping you fly, but the grumpy guy falls and breaks his legs first” would be a viral hit. There’s truly been so many others

Matt Colville, a river to his people, over floweth into NADDPOD

There’s a great episode of ologies about why dolls are creepy- there’s a theory humans have evolved to interpret anything that looks sort of like a human but not quite to be a corpse, which encouraged us to develop burial traditions to avoid contamination. It basically applies across the whole uncanny valley, and it’s why we don’t find something creepy that looks less like a human but acts like one (ie C3P0) - so basically any time we see a doll it’s just our brain telling us to avoid a dead body, which is very healthy!

Autumn Lanoye

time enough at last is such an emotionally devastating episode of the twilight zone
