I really want to give a shout out to both the sound design and Caldwell’s portrayal of Strahd in this series. Caldwell’s voice for Strahd is top tier, probably his canon voice in my head from now on. And the music and sound effects throughout have been so great.

Catching up after taking a few weeks to relisten to Eldermourne and the section here where Onyx gets a shell from the cursed fingernail press-on has made me laugh so hard I was weeping and could not breathe. I love the normally sweet Duncle Caldwell dropping a curse without too much preamble. Still finishing the episode but I had to comment my great joy since I so rarely get to laugh to the point it hurts.
