Re: pet baptism. I would argue that the difference lies in who (or what) is being baptized/blessed. Emily is human and thus has a soul = baptism. The dog is not human and doesn’t have a soul= blessing. Also, I have been a Christian for 25 years and have been going to church for longer and I have NEVER heard of animal baptism. I’m for it though. I’d love to get my cats blessed. Also, do we think the pet blessing is a denominational thing? I’m Presbyterian.

So In defense and support for he MTG dice roller, I used a spin down because it had a cool design and matched my character, playing at the table openly rolling with I rolled 4 nat 20's and practically soloed our first boss when our party was split and my fellow player went down on one turn. To be fair I was a rogue and had advantage every turn for hiding. But I still felt really bad

Emily calling out that it was a dude (or at least he/him) going after a fem character, calling her overpowered n shit, freaking healed a piece of my soul... feels like women & fem presenting people so often have to tip-toe around calling out reoccurring misogyny in nerdy communities, and just having her pointing out a pattern I'm SURE she's more than familiar with felt very refreshing!!
