So I'm very very new to this podcast and watching through youtube, i have been starting at the beginning. I have just finished this episode and watching that footage was heart breaking i had a mixed reactions. I'm a student nurse and when you were showing the footage I couldn't help think what if he has a concussion this person seems very confused. Even the little moans he let out I felt like it was him trying to breathe through the pain. . Although in saying that I thought he was involved too like maybe it was an act but then saying all the names and saying bow and arrow istead of revolver. You see it with confused patients as their brain makes them mix up what objects are like teapot but they could mean vacuum. I thought maybe the detective was trying to keep him awake but no that was so negligent absolutely heart breaking. Such an interesting episode thanks guys 😊

That is so horrible, i cannot believe the policemen involved didn't put together thet he was in need of medical help. While i was listening the very first thing i though was that he probably has brain damage and thats why he wasn't able to hold a conversation. Literally the first thing i thought. Its a horrible story, and i can only hope that the police all over the states will take this case to learn life saving first aid training to prevent any horrible thing like this happening again, because thats literally all it takes to identify that ryan was in need of immediate medical attention. So awful, every bit of this story
