🕑 Added 2016-08-13 05:54:03 +0000 UTC 'Slime' monster based off of real life slime molds.Doesn't look like much, but I wanted something that would work as a simple subject to do some brush experiments with.
While I feel like I should start returning to cleaner/crisper more 'digital' looking illustrations, I still love the look of brushes that mimic more traditional medias like water colour and marker. So I like to experiment a lot on how to get certain 'looks'. Main focus here was using a thin watercolour brush to 'line' here, as well as trying to get some light refraction/diffusion going with the red gel bit.
Also, slime molds are bright canary yellow. It's crazy!
