🕑 Added 2020-06-09 21:03:20 +0000 UTCThe last step in our process is the shading and lighting. We mention those two things as if they're separate steps, but really they are one in the same. You have to determine where your light is coming from before you can shade properly and the shading will show everyone where your light source is. A strategic placement of 2-dimensional shadows here and there in the scene will also help convey this sense of depth.
