🕑 Added 2015-08-11 19:05:35 +0000 UTC Some really rough sketches while mulling around the Lightfoot family.I didn't actually need to change Johnny's design very much, since, well, he's already wearing a leather jacket. I could have nicked up his ears a bit, but I feel like I overdo that motif so I try to avoid it lately.
Mr and Mrs Lightfoot aren't Johnny's parents, but rather aunt and uncle, and with how I've plotted out the story, we'll see them before we see Johnny (in fact, I'm not entirely sure when/where Johnny will pop up, though I'd like for him to do so at some point).
In ways I kind of think Johnny is pretty interesting, as in F:NM at least he's sort of a... a foil to Sonic? I'm not sure if that's the best way to describe him. They're very similar in different regards but go different directions. Johnny is what Sonic 'could have been' and Sonic is what Johnny 'could have been'. Of the two, Johnny lacks the coarseness that Sonic can have- he's a friendly, stand up kind of guy. But I wouldn't say that makes him a 'better' person than Sonic, because he's had to deal with less than Sonic has and hasn't had to deal with the same strife.
