Sneak Peek - AutoInput Actions v2
🕑 Added 2023-01-13 18:12:08 +0000 UTCHere's a new feature in AutoInput that hopefully you'll enjoy! :) This is a sneak peek exclusively for Patreon members and is not available anywhere else yet!
AutoInput will have a new action called Actions v2 which will hopefully make it easier for you to setup and perform UI based automation.
It gives you the option to do multiple UI related actions in a single Tasker action and has a much better helper to help you get setup.

Unfortunately, I can't use this because anytime I enable accessibility my bottom buttons stop working, tried all the "fixes" nothing works. Samsung S24 ultra

It will try until the timeout in the Tasker action is reached :)

Also, "click" an element "ID", does it have some timeout = time to scan screen UI for ID, then click ut?!?

Yes, that part is similar, only you find the element with a "target" instead of clicking on it :)

Looks promising, a search on the action list would be great. Is it using something similar to the AutoInput app where it gets the elementId based on where you click?

Glad you like it :) You'll still have to add waits in those situations, but the v2 action also has a wait function built in so you can add that in that single action as well!

This is very handy. I love what I see so far. That streamlines the set up of actions and testing them out. I'm curious to know if this will make manually putting in AutoInput Wait actions in tasks unnecessary. I've found them a necessity since the task would run through its steps faster than the UI could keep up with without the waiting between each AutoInput Action.
