Waterdeep City Map - Castle Ward - Complete (Pt 9) (All Tiers)

This is Release 9 for the Castle Ward and adds 61 buildings and a whole lot of terrain.
Final Castle Ward building count: 2144
Map Notes. This release spanned the entire west side of the ward, adding Mount Waterdeep, Castle Waterdeep, and 3 new Walking Statues: The Sahuagin Humbled, The Dreaming Lady, and The Griffon. Scaling the statues is always a bit of a guess as there isn't a lot to reference but I think it gets the job done.
Files. Files are attached below in both jpg and png formats, in 10px and 20px grid sizing (maps are not gridded) as well as high resolution 300dpi versions.
This release there is only 1 zip file of the complete ward. With the weird shape and size of the final section it didn't make sense to do a separate folder for the new 'part' as it covered 80%+ of the ward anyways.

haha I figured the request would be coming! It's definitely doable (at least portions of it at a time). Once the city is complete I'm hoping to do a lot of locations at battlemap scale and really offer a seamless experience between the city and battle maps.

It is amazing to see you mapping the city as a whole! I really look forward to seeing the full thing. Now that you have the Castle, you know we're going to ask for a battle map of that down the line, right? The only good map of that is from City System...

Still a while yet I'm afraid. Dock, Trades, South, and Field wards yet to map plus a few outlying areas to bring the map together. A rough guess I'd say we're looking at into May/June before its starting to approach a completed state.

The Griffon (and Saguagin) walking statues are a nice touch! A lot of love going into these to get the little details right. How close are you to piecing it all together? :D

Love those maps! It's mind-blowing to let the players grasp the city's size with those 20px maps. Can't wait to have the entire city! Will you be adding a street names layer to this one too?
