Level 18-2 - Dungeon of the Mad Mage (All Tiers)
🕑 Added 2023-12-22 15:00:59 +0000 UTCVanrakdoom. The dark fate of Lord Vanrak Moonstar. A level controlled by servants of Shar and creatures of shadow.
This is the second release for Level 18 and includes Map D, the area that has fallen into the Shadowfell. Again, here is how the level is split up:
Map Notes. A couple big locations (26+32) that I tried to keep interesting and offer some grandeur and vertical perspective to, despite possibly being massive battlegrounds for your players.
There is a light fog layer throughout the map as I wanted Keresta's presence to be felt everywhere - although the fog is much thicker in the rooms explicitly noted in the book.
For room 33 I have included a separate token of the rift so that you can place it above and remove it if players destroy the altar or otherwise dispel it.
Files. I have included both Background "_BG_" and Transparent "_TP_" versions of the map (D); background means it has a flat grey image behind the dungeon and transparent means there is nothing there. For the Roll20 versions, this means the background version is a jpg while the transparent version is a png (jpegs don't support transparency); Foundry files are both dd2vtt files.
The zip files below have the Level 18 Map D as well as a DM overlay for the map. Roll20Free is a .jpg < 10MB, Roll20Paid is a .jpg < 20MB and Foundry formats are dd2vtt files. Roll20 maps are at 70 and 140 px per grid cell respectively and the Foundry files are 100 px (this also holds true for the transparent images).
