Graveyard + Mausoleums. Lots of influences on this map - and settled somewhere between them all. First off, I wanted something spooky - somewhere for your players to explore, find some good Halloween-type monsters (undead, skeletons, wraiths, etc). I also wanted it to at least sort of work with my Mausoleum map from WDH and be a map that could be situated in the City of the Dead in Waterdeep, without explicitly being set there. The end result is a map with an assortment of mausoleums ready for exploring. Two of the mausoleums (far left and far right) include an arch - which can serve as a portal to a demi-plane where Waterdavians buried their dead when the CotD became too crowded. Or serve as a portal to anywhere else you might need (or even a doorway down to some other crypts). I've included 2 possible demi-planes - one a dark, spooky, forgotten place; the other all sunshine and rainbows.
Files. There are 2 levels for this map - the main floor and the roof level, with lots of detail added to the roofs to make each mausoleum unique and reflective of different family styles. There are 4 variants: spooky (fog+cobwebs), night, day, and "match. The match file changes out the terrain texture to more closely match my earlier WDH mausoleum map.
Happy Halloween from Tych Maps!
