I'd have disagree with a lot of the people in that chat about Aespa. I think their choreos have been pretty solid aside from Next level and Girls. Karina being stiff is a WILD thing to say during Debut times given not only she's the main dancer, but has been wildly praised for her dancing. That's like saying Yeji was stiff during debut and we all know that would be a lie. Winter was also scouted initially for her dancing and Ning was the one with the longest training time. The only one who wasn't quite up to speed with dancing in beginning was Giselle, but now she catches so many eyes with her dance and performance. Their performing during debut was pretty stale except Karina, but they talked about how debuting during covid was really difficult to put in the performance and energy when there was no one to perform for except a camera crew. For me, they've been pretty excellent with their performances since Spicy, but I give them some lee way cause Black Mamba to Girls was them being their AI counter parts in Kwangya for all the videos, so having a pretty straight face for music videos and performances wasn't wilding damning like it would be if Le Sserafim did it. But the difficulty of their choreos have really stepped up since Drama, I'd say Drama was a really big turning point for them in everything. Like Fancy was for Twice and I feel that way with Untouchable for Itzy, Easy for Le Sserafim (though they're still early in their career), Psycho for Red Velvet and so on.
