One of the better character stories compared to the previous season! Usually changes some peoples minds a bit.

A few things you might have missed are that Ben/Sun/Frank/etc are in 2007 while Sawyer/Juliet/Jack/etc are in 1977. Also, Sawyer and Juliet have lived together for 3 years. In the timeline, the moment 815 crashes on the island until the Oceanic 6 are rescued is only 3 months.

I love these episodes where someone cooks up a jungle psychedelic

Never noticed that either. If I could post images I’d post a side by side I just did to check because I wanted to see for sure. The funny thing is since on the show, the two events happened 30 years apart, and the location looks identical, it couldn’t possibly be the same location…despite being the same location. :)

I just noticed something that I never noticed before: The place where Sayid was 'tortured' by Oldham is the same exact location that Sayid tortured Sawyer in season 1. There's even a moment where Sawyer looks around in recognition. Nice touch.
