I know what you mean. As an enormous Lost fan, I consider S5 to be the “fun, crazy” season. I think my favorite season is 2.

I know I'm apparently in the minority here, but to also quell some possible over hyping, S5 is not my favorite season, in fact it's near the bottom. More because I like other seasons better than this is bad because no season of LOST is bad. 😁♥️😁♥️

When Dan tells Sawyer "...time is like a street, you can go forward or backward, but you can't create a new street, every time you try to do something different you will fail." We can relate it to Charlie's fate, no matter how many times Desmond tried, Charlie was going to die anyway and he understood that when he sacrificed himself.
