I honestly don't understand why Desmond wouldn't let Jin catch the bird in his net trap, while Charlie was still at camp. Charlie would be in no danger. By scaring away those birds, Desmond then has to go catch one himself, where he says Charlie would've fallen in trying to catch a bird. So again, why not just let Jin catch one and be done with it? 🤷♂️
