I feel like the writers or editor should've stopped Jack at "Now get in here!", and left out the line about bringing the walkie talkie (or leave it out all together). Just to let the tension with Sawyer and Danny build a bit more. I feel like it's too obvious that Sawyer will be saved by the call and deflates a bit of the fear in the viewer. Either way, great episode and classic cliffhanger ending.

Getting to the good stuff! This episode aired as a sort of early mid-season finale, hence the cliffhanger. There was a 3 month hiatus between this episode and the next! VERY Hyped for the next episode.
