Apothecary Kit Public Release

The Apothecary Kit adds the Pharmacology Skill, which enables your Sim to make packages of herbal gummies and bottles of serum tablets based on Herbalism Potions from Outdoor Living, and Chemistry Lab Serums from Get To Work (so you need both packs for this mod to work).
You can make herbal gummies and serum tablets on the Pharmacology Workbench, available in Build/Buy under Knowledge. Additional recipes are available as you gain skill (roughly the same as the Herbalist skill and/or the Scientist career level). There are three skill books available, since Pharmacology is a 10 level skill.
The Workbench (a slightly retextured Chemistry Lab from GTW) makes packages of 6 gummies or bottles of 6 serum tablets, and requires twice as many ingredients as the standard recipes for herbal potions and serums.
NOTE: This screenshot is outdated. The new name of the workbench is Pharmacology Workbench
Packages of 6 Gummies are worth three times what a single herbalism potion is worth, and bottles of 6 Serum Tablets are worth the same as a single Serum flask, since those prices are already set very high.

You can sell the finished products to the doctors or receptionist at San Myshuno Hospital. To travel there, you can select Travel to San Myshuno Hospital in the travel section of the Sims's phone. NOTE: you will need to introduce yourself to hospital staff before you can sell them pharmaceutical products (a precaution I would hope all hospitals take...).
Of course, you can also sell all of these things in a retail store (if you run one). One of my original goals with this mod was that I wanted to run a proper pharmacy.

All of the Pharmacology products are also available under the Order menu on computers in the Medicine category.

Nope, you don't need to be a scientist. Make sure you are using the correct workstation, as the pharmacology workstation was cloned from the Chemistry one and looks almost the same. The Pharmacology Workbench has a flower logo on the front left, and a menu item that says 'Craft Tablets and Gummies'. To get the Pharmacology skill to get started, there are three books. Unfortunately, I just noticed they are still named Apothecary Skill instead of Pharmacology (and the new pack just added some with similar names). The beginning book for the pharmacology skill is named 'Apothecary Vol. 1: Pharmacology Basics'. I'm going to update the names of the books to Pharmacology in the next update.

Yep, I have a whole pharmacy in one of my saves. :) I do wish there was a shelf/rack with slots closer together. I may decide to make a proper rack for these at some point so they can sit on a counter display. Before the latest patch chaos, I was progressively making my way through my crafting mods to find ways for employees to make things. I still plan to add that to this mod.

Can these be sold through the new business lots? have you tested these on the sale slots available in the business lots?

I have had that thought about half a dozen times now, lol! I would have to make it an add-on to avoid requiring their mod, but if I get a chance, I should be able to fish out the ingredient IDs to refer to them in a recipe. I'll put it on the list of possible future features for that mod. :)
