The Sorcerer's Apprentice (Public Release)

Are you a wizard with too many chores around the house to have enough
time for wizarding? Try the Sorcerer's Apprentice! Let it take care
of your mundane cleaning, repairing and gardening needs while you spend
your time stirring the cauldron.
Starting with version 1.0.4, the Sorcerer's Apprentice is created with an
Adept-level Practical spell with the same name. Cast the spell on the floor, and it will roam around your lot like a Hoverbot looking for things to clean or repair. It will also tend to your garden.
After 6 hours, it will disappear. If you want to dispel it sooner than that, you
can click on the broom and select 'Dispel'.
Expansions required: Realm of Magic, Discover University
Requires the Spellbook Injector V2, also available on this website. There is a Tome for the spell, and it should be learnable in the usual ways.
NOTE: If you preferred the previous behavior of the apprentice being a buyable item that stuck around forever, just stay with version 1.0.3, as it still works fine.

Hello, me again. I was translating your mod and noticed that the line for the name of the item itself "Sorcerer's Apprentice" is also used in the spell book for the name of the Spell, which causes a problem when translating because in my language these should be two different words. Could you replace the line in the spell book with the line numbered "Summon Sorcerer's Apprentice"? Postscript. The broom has a shadow left, and it is displayed at certain angles. This can be removed in blender by reducing the plane behind the broom and moving it to the broom itself after that. Thank you!

It should do the same things as the University Cleaning, Repairing and Gardening Hoverbots do. Checking the code, cleaning looks for objects that are flagged during with one of these values: 15131: ObjectStateValue: DirtyState_Dirty 15133: CommodityBasedObjectStateValue: Dirty_Dirty 15135: CommodityBasedObjectStateValue: Dirty_VeryDirty I'll take a look at dishes. Thought they were marked 'dirty' so that the maids clean them up, but it may have changed since I initially wrote this. Oh, also, were the dishes on the same floor? Thanks for the feedback!

Since there was unfortunately no list of what the apprentice does or doesn't do, I observed what he neglects. Unfortunately, cleaning up the dishes is one of the most important things and unfortunately it gets left undone.

You can get the tome by searching the bookshelves in the magic realm, as well as in Build/Buy if you show hidden objects. You can also learn the spell without the tome by practicing Practical magic. If a new Practical Sage is generated after you install this spell, the new sage should know it as well. I have not added dust yet, since I still haven't bought the Bust the Dust pack. If I do, I'll add dusting.
