Aerial Is a Good Sister
Suletta is a good girl.
“I… Aerial, everything’s happening so fast that I…”
She’s in my cockpit, hugging her knees, muttering to herself about getting engaged.
I wonder if I will be a good sister-in-law.
“I don’t even—this isn’t what I thought school would be like, but I also don’t know what it should be like, and I… I…”
Her eyes are red.
She isn’t crying. Suletta’s brave.
But she’s still stressed.
“Wha—” She looks around in surprise as the cheerful theme song of her favorite anime starts playing.
The Pet Girl of Sakurasao.
It isn’t hard to understand why Suletta likes it. Not with a girl who struggles to understand those around her. A girl unlike, yet very much like, Suletta.
Suletta’s face relaxes into a small smile, and her fingers drift over my cushioned armrests as she closes her eyes and hums along the chorused lines.
“Thank you, Aerial,” she whispers.
You are welcome, Suletta.
***
“He proposed,” Suletta sulks, despondently talking about the brash boy with the streak of pink hair.
I don’t like him very much. He’s fought Suletta.
Twice.
“He proposed, and now everybody’s talking about it, and asking me why I rejected him,” she mutters into her crossed arms, her cheeks puffed, as she wiggles in my seat.
I really don’t like that boy.
“I am… already engaged, aren’t I, Aerial?” Suletta asks, lifting her head and looking at the user interface overlaying my visor.
I am tempted to play a wedding march.
But Suletta wouldn’t like me teasing her.
So I remain silent and hope my disapproval of the tanned boy comes through.
“I don’t know what he was thinking, either,” she says, drifting off with a hint of worry.
Don’t worry, Suletta.
We will beat him a third time.
***
“Permet score: two,” the emotionless boy says as soon as he’s away from Suletta.
Inside of me.
Connecting to me.
I… hesitate.
Suletta cares for him. Or at least is worried about him.
He’s been kind to her.
So I’ll be kind to him.
I allow his mind to touch me, and I hold it as gently as Suletta’s own as the Permet implanted in his body tries and fails to shine through his skin.
I reach to him with a soothing hand. Like I always do with Suletta.
And he recoils.
He cuts off from me and drifts off into a tirade as he holds himself.
Inside me.
Muttering words of rage against Suletta.
I am… confused.
***
Suletta and I fly in a way we never have, her mind as agile as ever, navigating through obstacles and enemy fire.
The intriguing boy shoots at her.
He’s faster.
Until he isn’t.
Suletta and I fight side by side, our GUND-BITs shifting into both shield and weapon as we weave around the boy’s firestorm.
We hit him.
He hits back.
And, suddenly, we can no longer fly.
Suletta is hard-pressed, her mind whirring as it coordinates each and every remaining GUND-BIT to shield us, and I…
I…
I defend Suletta.
A storm of electromagnetic waves brews in my chest before I unleash it, disrupting all of the enemy’s weapons.
And reaching him.
I touch his mind again, and… and there’s something there. Something that reminds me of Suletta and long nights in Mercury while Mom was away and my sister huddled inside me, watching anime about happy school lives until she drifted asleep.
That something… surfaces.
Past the wall of fury and resentment he used to cut me off the first time we touched. It surfaces.
And we defeat him, yes.
But that’s not why I’m glad.
***
“I… I waited for him. For three hours,” Suletta whispers.
I am sorry, Suletta.
“I thought we could be friends now, but… but maybe I was at fault?”
You weren’t.
“I didn’t want to be pushy. I really didn’t mean to, Aerial.”
It’s not your fault, Suletta. You are a good girl.
“I just… I just wish I could… Everyone else understands, and knows what to do, but this is too hard, Aerial. Sometimes I wish it was just you and me, again, dreaming about a school life, and friends, and just… just being happy with a happy dream. But I am in the dream, and I… I am not happy, Aerial.”
I…
This is wrong.
Suletta shouldn’t feel like this.
Where is Mom’s spell? Why isn’t she moving forward to take two?
Why does everybody hurt Suletta?
“Aerial…?” she asks as she leans back, her head sinking into my cushioned backrest as a screen blinks open in front of her.
Komi Can’t Communicate. Another of her favorites.
About a girl who’s too shy. Who fears talking to others.
Who, nonetheless, wants to make a hundred friends.
The first episode ends with a dialogue between her and her first friend, an ordinary boy who nonetheless listens. Who is patient. Who reaches to her.
Suletta cries.
“Thank you, Aerial.”
You are welcome, Suletta.
***
Mom’s here.
“I am sorry, Aerial, you will just have to hold on for a bit,” she says, gently caressing the outside of my visor.
Hold on for what, Mom?
“It won’t take long, I promise. You and Suletta will be together again soon enough.”
What? I can’t leave Suletta, Mom. Not now. Not with everything she’s going through.
“I promise it will be worth it.”
Worth it for whom, Mom?
***
Suletta’s fiancée is… brash.
“Oi,” she says as she climbs inside of me, the long blue dress she wears making it hard for her to step into the cockpit.
I am confused. Mom’s words are still going through my mind.
“I don’t know what I’m doing here.”
Neither do I, Ms. Miorine.
“I promised Suletta I would check up on you before they took you away, but what’s there to check? It’s not like I’m a pilot.”
Ah. Suletta was worried about me.
That makes sense.
Ms. Miorine sits as unprimly as her dress allows her to, resting her chin on her palm and looking displeased with everything.
She remains so for twenty-three minutes.
“Okay,” she mutters. “I guess that counts as a promise fulfilled.”
And she stands up.
Then sits back down.
I am… somewhat disoriented.
“She really thinks of you as a sister, you know? And I… I couldn’t stand for them to just take you away. Because I know how that stamina freak, musclehead, wallflower wannabe would just… She would cry. And not in that almost amusing way she does when overwhelmed by something new she can’t quite process. No. She would cry like when that moron stood her up, but worse, and that’s the last thing I want to deal with right now, because, for some bizarre reason, I dislike her being hurt, and I just know…”
She pauses, her angry tone lowering as her eyes close.
“I know what it’s like to lose your family, Aerial,” she finally says, her fingers trailing over my armrest gently and carefully.
Then, after another long silence, Ms. Miorine stands up and leaves without saying goodbye.
…
Rude.
***
“You’re back, Aerial!” Suletta greets me, hugging my visor from the outside before she catches the looks the crew is shooting her way and sinks into a deep squat to hide her red cheeks behind her knees.
I missed you too, Suletta.
***
I am… dancing.
“This is too embarrassing, this is too embarrassing, this is too embarrassing…” Suletta keeps muttering as she has me enact her… choreography.
It is, I admit, somewhat enjoyable.
“Suletta! Focus!” Ms. Miorine’s voice shouts through the comms.
“Eeeep!” Suletta answers, shooting straight up, bumping my controllers, and making us trip and crash on top of a mound of earth that explodes with our fall into flying clumps of dirt and grass.
…
That was not enjoyable.
***
This is wrong.
Suletta is fighting beside her teammates against a common enemy.
But she still fights alone.
“Suletta!” Ms. Miorine’s voice comes through the comms, warning of an incoming attack by another of the blond man’s allies.
And Suletta deals with it.
Alone.
Because nobody else is as strong as her. As us.
And so Suletta fights alone.
We end up cornered, surrounded by too many enemies, and they unleash something on me, a teal, sparkling field that—
It cuts me off.
Antidote.
They have used Antidote on me, and now Suletta is inside my cockpit, but I can’t touch her, I can’t reach her mind, I can’t help Suletta—
“I am sorry, Aerial,” she whispers.
What?
“You’re angry, aren’t you?”
Of course I am! They—
“I always rely on you for everything.”
You should! You should rely on me for—
“But this time… I want to give it a try. For the sake of the company Ms. Miorine made for us… I want to do my part!”
What are you saying? It’s not you I am angry at; you always do your best—
“It’s not on my wish list… and I don’t know what I can do, but… Is that selfish?”
… You should be selfish, Suletta.
Something grows and pulses inside of me. Struggles against the Antidote.
And the hateful thing keeping me away from my sister vanishes like moisture in sunlit vacuum.
“I am glad.”
So am I, Suletta.
“You’re still there.”
I’ll always be.
“Do it together?”
Yes. I’ll protect you, Suletta.
“No, it’s fine. This time, I know I can do it.”
You always could. I have always known.
“Let’s help Ms. Miorine together, shall we?”
You help her. I will help you.
We will fight.
I am one-armed, wounded, my armor scrapped from the long fight against too many opponents.
So I move.
GUND-BITs surround and protect us as we slash with our sword, as we shoot with our rifle, as we dodge beams, and outmaneuver too-slow opponents.
We crush each of them. Each of the wielders of Antidote.
And we reach the leader, our objective.
But there are still too many, and one of them shoots my leg off before we can jump out of the way.
So I fall.
The blond boy aims at my head.
And somebody shoots his antenna off.
… What?
The… The other fighters. The ones I dismissed.
Suletta’s… friends.
They have helped her.
She has me extend my hand and open my cockpit, and she dances on my palm, clumsy as she always is when gravity stops her usual grace, and…
And I look at my sister.
In front of me.
Almost paralyzed with embarrassment, ramrod straight with fear, yet forcing herself to repeat the slogan for the company Ms. Mio has built for us. To protect our family.
She’s not alone.
Suletta… is no longer alone.
***
“Ms. Mio asked me to look after her tomatoes,” Suletta tells me with a beaming smile.
I don’t understand why tomatoes are important, but I’m glad for you, Suletta.
“She’ll be going out on a business… thing? She explained, but she’s really bad at explaining, and… she’s working really hard, Aerial. For you. For us,” she says before her cheeks redden, and she hides her face behind her arms.
I am… glad, Suletta.
“And she asked me to look after her tomatoes. While she was away.”
I still don’t understand why tomatoes are important.
“She gave me a lot of instructions, but I took notes, and double-checked, and… and I think I can do a good job. She told me she trusted me to. She told me she trusts me, Aerial,” Suletta says, her smile wide, and bright, and…
…
I am happy for you, Suletta.
***
“I’m sorry to pull you away from Suletta, Aerial,” Mom says, standing on a platform beside my head.
…
“It won’t be long. Things are going… well enough. Soon, nothing will be able to separate you two.”
I don’t want this, Mom. We can do whatever you want, but I don’t want Suletta involved.
“I promise… I promise this new world won’t be able to stand against my daughters.”
That is not the promise I wanted to hear.
***
The station is rocking with explosions.
Mom is in front of me, on the other side of blast-proof glass.
She’s smiling.
It scares me.
***
Suletta is with me.
We are fighting.
But it’s different.
We connect seamlessly, but…
She is not talking to me. She’s focused on her opponent.
Another Gundam.
No. A Gundam piloted by another person. Using physical projectiles.
A person who could kill Suletta.
We shoot and weave in and out of the attacks, our agility in zero gravity unmatched as we pursue. As we fight.
But this isn’t a duel. This isn’t part of Suletta’s long-sought-after school life.
This is war.
And I don’t want Suletta anywhere near it.
***
The enemy flees.
Yet Suletta is scared.
For Ms. Miorine.
I… I reach out with my sensors and point the way, my sister nodding in grim determination before she navigates the entrance to the space station.
We rush across corridors too narrow for my frame, steel walls being torn at my passage until we reach our destination and crash through the wall keeping Suletta from her fiancée.
Somebody is pointing a rifle at her.
I—
Suletta kills him.
… What?
I process the remains of the man under my hand as Suletta opens my cockpit and steps out, immediately tripping down and into the puddle of… blood.
Just blood.
Ms. Miorine is splattered by it, staring mutely at Suletta as my sister extends her offered, dripping-wet hand with a reassuring smile.
What?
What… What have you done, Mom?
“Murderer…” Ms. Miorine mutters.
***
Miorine Rembran Worries
Dad—father is lying still.
He rarely is not still, the pompously hieratical—
I can’t do this.
“Why…” I ask the unresponsive, pale body attached to too many machines to answer.
After I just founded a medical company.
I don’t appreciate the irony.
“Ms. Rembran—” the young nurse in charge of keeping father’s body comfortable asks before I cut her off with a glare.
She apologizes with some nonsense I don’t pay attention to and closes the door behind her when she leaves, casting the private room once again in mild, soothing shadow.
And, once again, I’m alone with… with him. With him, and the noises of the respirator, the beeping of the heart monitor, and about ten other things I don’t have the name for.
With all that, and the memory replaying over and over in my head.
Suletta.
Suletta coming to my rescue. Saving my life.
And smiling.
Smiling that damn smile as she stood there, her hand dripping with the blood she had just spilled, the… the remains of what used to be a man, and…
And she could have done so many other things. So many things that would’ve ended up with me hugging her and crying on her chest as I felt the fear and panic wash away.
But she stood there, offering me her bloody hand.
And smiled.
“You are a soldier… Dad. Did you… Would you have smiled like that?”
Father, as usual, doesn’t answer.
And so I keep sitting by his side, my forehead resting atop my tangled fists, with no one to reassure me that the world makes any sense.

Suletta Mercury Is Lonely
Once again, I’m sneaking into Aerial’s cockpit in the middle of the night.
It’s… It’s almost like all those animes with an outcast having lunch in the bathroom to avoid bullies. Except it’s not lunch, and I don’t have any bullies, and I want to have bullies, because that would be something, and I…
I want to call Mom.
I want to be back on Mercury, because even when she wasn’t there, when she kept missing my birthday because she was too busy in other worlds, I still lived in our home, and had something of hers near.
I thought things would be better at school.
They aren’t.
“Hi, Aerial,” I greet my sister with what I hope is a bright smile as I climb inside her and put my feet up on her seat.
I once thought it could be rude, but I’d been doing it for years, for as long as I can remember, and so I thought it may be ruder to ask if it was rude, and Aerial never complained, and I…
I am so alone.
“Ms. Miorine still isn’t talking to me,” I say, looking at the display slowly lighting up with soothing tones that remind me of candlelight now that I’ve lived in a place where lighting candles isn’t punishable by law.
Mercury is… harsh.
I still miss it.
“I don’t blame her. She must’ve been so scared when… thathappened. And her father was really hurt. And I… I… I don’t know what I did wrong.”
I try not to cry.
It’s hard.
“I saved her, didn’t I, Aerial? I saved my… my… my fiancée. And that’s what I told her I would do. I said I would… She made me promise I would be by her side. And how could I be by her side if I let her be taken? If I let her… let her…”
I cry.
It’s easy.
“It’s not fair… Not fair… I just… I did my best. I did the only thing I could. I saved her… and she looked at me like I was a monster. Like I…”
I rub my eyes with the stupid, white drooping sleeves of the Holder uniform, and then with the heels of my hands, because the tears keep on pouring, and I don’t know what else to do, and I’m hiccupping, but I still want to tell Aerial, because she will listen. Because even when nobody else does, when Mom is away, and Ms. Miorine avoids me, Aerial listens to me, and I…
“I still see it. I still see the… the mandisappearing, and I had to put on that smile to reassure Ms. Mio, because I was scared, and so was she, and she wasn’t supposed to be, but Mom told me to fight, to move forward, and I did, and I should have gained two, or at least something, but I keep losing more and more, and… and…”
I bite my lip to stifle another sob.
Aerial waits for me patiently.
“It was… It was the only thing I could do. I saw it, and I had no time to think, so I did something. Something that would keep Ms. Miorine alive. And I didn’t… I didn’t think, Aerial, because I’m dumb, and stupid, and I should never have come to school—”
“You really are stupid,” a cold, piercing voice says from my right.
The cabin’s open.
And Ms. Mio is staring at me.
“A—Aerial?! Why—” I try to ask my traitorous sister.
Ms. Miorine climbs inside, her tight-clad legs going over the rim of the cockpit before she stands in front of my seat with her feet spread wide and her arms crossed.
“You didn’t add compost,” she says in her scolding tone.
“W—what?”
“You didn’t add compost. You didn’t switch the light cycle to an Andean pattern. You didn’t come to clean my room,” she enumerates, tapping two fingers over her elbow after every point.
“I—I—I’m sorry! I apologize! I—wait, you didn’t—”
“You promised not to leave me alone.”
“Bu—but you did leave me alone!” I say, pointing up at her with a trembling hand.
“I never promised you anything!”
“You are supposed to! You ca—can’t… You can’t make me promise all those things and then stop talking to me and think I will… will care for your tomatoes, and—”
“Email me. Three times every day.”
“Wha—I did!”
She leans forward, bending at the waist, her narrow eyes twitching when she grabs the front of my uniform.
“And then you stopped,” she says.
I… I don’t know how to answer.
“You… Ms. Miorine, you…”
She takes something out of her pocket and dangles it in front of me.
A keychain accessory.
The one I gave her.
My heart races.
“I… Every time I take out my cell phone, I have to keep looking at this stupid, garish, cheesy thing. And then I remember you, and how you always are, how you always look… and how you looked back then. And I don’t understand. I don’t understand, Suletta, how you could… How you—”
I look into her gray eyes as she stares at me. As she tries to tell me just how much I disappointed her, how much of a monster I am because I saved her and I could only think to do it the way I did, and I—
I jump to my feet.
Ouch.
“Ah! You—you moron!” Ms. Miorine says, rubbing her chin where I accidentally bumped her with my stinging, agonizingly aching forehead.
“S—sorry!” I say before I grab the top of Aerial’s seat and jump out of—
Aerial closes her cockpit.
…
What?
“A—Aerial?” I say with a tremulous voice as I turn around to see Ms. Miorine glaring murderously at me from right behind me.
And Aerial…
Opens up a video screen.
Citrus.
Aerial is playing Citrus!
“What—” Ms. Miorine starts to ask.
“It’s okay! They aren’t really sisters!” I immediately say.
“What?!”
“They—their parents married, but they were already grown, so it’s not incest! It’s just romance between two girls, and I was curious after we got engaged, and, and—Aerial!”
Aerial, rather than listen to my plea, loops a scene where a long-haired brunette possessively clasps the chin of a blonde girl looking up at her like—
Ms. Miorine is blinking.
“You are a pervert…” she says.
“Waaaaahhhhh!” I answer.
“I can’t believe—how can you be this you and still… still…” her eyes drift toward the screen.
And Ms. Miorine blushes.
“Aerial, can you please stop that?” she says.
The screen closes.
Traitor.
“Right. As for you—” Ms. Miorine says.
And stops when another screen opens up.
A screen filled with… manga panels.
Of… Of…
“What… is this?” Ms. Miorine asks, looking intrigued at—
“Nothing! Nothing at all! Aerial is being silly!”
Ms. Miorine shoots me an incredulous eyebrow.
Point-blank range.
She’s really, really close.
“These seem to be… manga panels? Of early twenty-first century schools?”
“Yes! Aerial really likes old stuff! She’s such a—”
“All the panels have two people. One of them is always against a wall.”
“Wh—wh—what a weird thing for Aerial to focus on!” I say, backing off to get enough space to wave my hands in front of me, because Ms. Miorine is really close—“Eeeeeep!”
The glass of Aerial’s cockpit is behind my back.
Ms. Miorine is in front of me.
Her hand is right beside my left ear, after having slammed it against the wall!
“Oh?” she asks with a grin that makes me think of pointed teeth, and I should never have read any mangas with vampires in them, and those boys were all really tall, and—
“I—I—I—”
“You?”
“I don’t understand what’s going on!” I yell into her face with my eyes clenched shut because I can’t look at her and still have the courage to say this, and…
And…
And Ms. Miorine sighs.
“Aerial called me,” she says.
When I open my eyes, her cell phone is in front of me, with a video of the cabin. With me in it. Crying.
“I told you to tell me if there was any issue, stupid,” Ms. Miorine says, looking to the side.
“I didn’t know what the problem was…” I tell her.
And she turns to look at me with sharp, angry eyes.
Her phone clatters on the cockpit floor.
And she possessively clasps my chin.
“The problem is that there is a problem,” she mutters.
And drags me down.
Her lips are… Soft. Softer than I thought a kiss would be. Softer than I hoped.
Her fingers go from my chin to my jaw, then up to my ear, to sweep my hair behind it and trace the edge of it before trailing down the side of my neck.
And, when her thumb rests on the hollow of my throat and her palm over the top of my breast… Ms. Miorine pulls back.
… Then I remember that I should breathe. From time to time. I think.
“There’s something wrong with you,” she says, more or less like I thought anybody would after my first kiss.
“I—I know, but I can’t… I’m sorry. I’m sorry—”
“There’s something wrong with you,” she repeats, stopping me from talking as her thumb slides up my neck to gently push up the underside of my jaw. “And I don’t know what it is. It could be that you grew up too isolated. It could be that you need medication, or therapy. I don’t know. But I will.”
“Wh—what?”
“You’re always going to be by my side, Suletta. That’s a long time to find out how to help you.”
I—I—
I look at Ms. Miorine’s eyes.
At… At gentleness and warmth.
At…
I cry.
“What—no! This isn’t supposed to make you bawl your eyes out!”
“Stupid! Stupid! Ms. Miorine is stupid! Of course I would—of course I would cry if… if…”
She grabs my cheeks, pulls me down, and kisses me.
She’s… harsher than before, her lips pressing up against mine until I open them in a muffled gasp that she takes advantage of to plunge her tongue right in. And… and she moves it, so I have to also move it, and I open my eyes in shock to see Ms. Miorine clinging to me with her eyes closed and her pale cheeks flushed, and—
And she’s grabbing the front of my jacket and pulling me into the seat, and now she’s sitting on top of me, her—her butt on my lap, and her legs over my right arm as she rests her feet on the side of the seat, and…
I think I’m going to faint.
“Call me stupid one more time,” she says with lidded eyes and a heated, angry voice. “I dare you.”
I… blink?
“Stu—stupid? Eeeek!”
She’s grabbing my hair, and she’s going to take revenge—ah, no.
She’s just… kissing me.
Harder.
And… And moving her petite, toned butt on top of me, and rubbing all over my thighs, and her calves are crossing and uncrossing by my side, over my arm, the shifting lights inside Aerial’s cockpit reflecting off the glossy, black tights, and my eyes are swirling about as much as her tongue inside my mouth, and…
And…
I really, really think I’m going to faint.
“Ms. Mio… Ms. Miorine?” I ask her when she lets me breathe once again.
Which may allow me not to faint.
May.
“Suletta, in all your stupid school romance mangas, did you ever notice that the girls tend to fall for troubled young men who are in dire need of either therapy or jail time?” she asks.
I lick my lips as I try not to look at her legs, lips, blushing cheeks, heaving chest, or… or anything other than grey, silver, piercing eyes that aren’t making this any easier!
“I… Mom said it’s a cliché. That girls want to fix… people. That it’s a fantasy.”
Ms. Miorine looks at me. Silently.
“Your mother was right,” she says. “Do you want to know something else?”
I… hesitate.
Then I nod.
And Ms. Miorine wraps her arms around my neck and pulls herself up until our lips almost touch, so close that I can feel it when she speaks and shapes words with glossy, tender—
“I am going to fix you, Suletta,” she says.
And her right hand undoes the wrap around my ponytail to grab and pull at my hair until I bare my throat to her lightly grazing teeth as the other hand—
What?!
“Ms—Ms. Miorine!”
“Call me Mio,” she says.
And finishes undoing my shirt.
Her small, deft hand immediately slips under my bra, and my eyes roll back as she palms my breast, tweaking my increasingly hard nipple between thumb and forefinger even as I can still feel the fabric of my cup brushing on top of it as Ms. Miori—as Mio sucks on the side of my neck, and I definitely shouldn’t have read any manga with vampires in them, and…
“Hmmmmm!” I… tell her.
I think.
Or, well, no. I’m really not thinking. Not with the way she’s grinding her butt on me, and that’s not my lap she’s pressing down on, and my panties are soaked, and what does she mean by fixing me—
“Mi—Mio! I—”
“Hmmm… Yes, scream my name,” she purrs.
I didn’t know Ms. Mio could purr!
And—
“Aerial, lower the volume,” Mio whispers after Aerial starts playing something with a saxophone on it.
I keep blinking as the interface inside the cockpit fades away to be replaced by a fireplace surrounded by a wall made of dark logs, and… And Mio is in front of me, the fire behind her shining through silver strands, the flames reflected off the interior of the cockpit shining back into eyes like pale moons, and…
And she’s touching me.
“I gave you an order, Suletta,” she mutters.
And, right as I blink at her in confusion, she slides the hand teasing my breast down, over my trembling belly, fingers dancing around my navel before she glides lower, and—
She stretches the waistband of my shorts.
Then my panties.
And then she reaches the curly, dark red hair below and keeps looking at my wide eyes as I pant with my mouth open, unable to do anything but stare at her looking at me, at light blinking in and out of pale irises, at—
She moves.
I hear… I hear the sound of wet skin being rubbed over.
And then I feel it.
“Mio!” I yell, throwing my head back, sinking into Aerial’s seat as my eyes roll back at the surge of… something.
“Good girl,” she whispers, her face so close that her warm breath washes over me, and I close my thighs over her hand.
But… But her fingers are still there, on top of me, and she wiggles them, and I clench my teeth as sparks fly behind my eyelids, and Aerial keeps playing that stupid music!
“Are—are we—right here?” I ask despite the fingers.
“Aerial isn’t giving us much of a choice, is she?” Mio says with a grin that makes me think of business deals and people whimpering in horror.
Aerial loops back to the saxophone solo.
… I’m being outnumbered, and I don’t like it.
But Ms. Mio is still moving, and my bra is bunched on top of my breasts, and she’s leaning down, and—oh.
Oh.
I bite my lip to help me bite back a moan, and I… I keep looking at…
She’s looking up at me.
One hand stuck down my panties, her mouth working around my left nipple, her butt on my lap, and she’s looking at me, observing me, and I feel… I feel like she’s memorizing everything I do, every way I respond to what she does to me, and…
And she slowly backs away from my wet, glistening, dark red nipple, her teeth briefly brushing the top of her bottom lip before she…
She…
“You can also touch me, Suletta,” she whispers.
Her tights feel really smooth.
For some reason, Ms. Mio is rolling her eyes.
“You are a pervert,” she says.
“I—I don’t… You are touching me! Down there!”
“I never said I wasn’t a pervert.”
I blink at her.
She, once again, grins.
And, as I absent-mindedly slide my right hand between soft, toned calves that give in just enough at my touch that it feels like I’m pushing through plush pillows, she presses down.
Downer.
Lower! I mean lower!
“I am going to give you everything you wanted me to give you, Suletta. And more,” she says, eyes once again burning as her breath scalds me, makes the flesh around my wet nipple rise up in goosebumps, makes something below my breasts, inside of me, clench, and—
And she pushes.
Between my legs, at… at my… my entrance.
The tip of a small finger slides in, and my eyelids flutter, and my head keeps bobbing back and forth, and Mio is moving her wrist between my thighs, making me feel like a wave is traveling back and forth through them to the rhythm of a stupid saxophone.
Aerial… You are mean.
“You can touch me,” Ms. Mio repeats over my breasts, but not looking at me, and blushing, and whispering instead of purring, and—“Hn!”
And her thighs are really soft.
I… move my fingers between them, hesitating, looking at her to see if she will complain, or scold me, or…
Or…
She’s looking up at me.
Her eyes burn.
“Is that all you can do?” she says, letting go of my nipple only to go back to it with a long, long lick that lets me see her cute little pink tongue, and—ah!
She… She’s…
Two fingers.
Two fingers inside me.
I’ve never…
It feels… It’s tight, and she’s moving slower, forcefully, one sliding in as the other comes back out, and my nipple is caught between her lips as she sucks on it and caresses the very point with her tongue, and…
And I am losing my mind!
“Ms.—Ms. Mio!”
“I… I kinda like that. I will allow it,” she says before chuckling over my very wet breast.
“I am—I… I mean… Ms. Mio!”
“Yes?” she once again purrs, her eyes lidded as she nuzzles into my breast, her cheek as incredibly soft as—
“I—I—”
“You?”
“I love you!”
“… What?”
“I love you! And I’ll stay by your side! And I’ll… I… I will mail you ten times a day, and clean your room five times a week, and… and I’ll protect you—”
Her tongue… is in my mouth.
And her legs are around me, her hands on my hair, and at least one of them is wet with my—ugh.
But I can’t complain.
Because Ms. Mio’s tongue is in my mouth, and she won’t let me.
So unfair…
“Touch me…” she whispers when she pulls back. But she kisses me before I can answer.
So… So I…
I slide my hands up over the top of her thighs, and then I reach the end of her short shorts’ legs, and… and I hesitate for a moment, but she grunts into my mouth when I do, so I reach up with the tips of my fingers, under the teal fabric, and her tights end, and then there’s only soft, yielding flesh, and…
And…
I…
I squeeze her butt!
“Hn!” Ms. Mio says without letting go of my lips as her hands fist into my hair, pulling in all the right ways.
… Wait, what?
Never mind! Doesn’t matter! What matters is that she’s grinding her hips against me, only to stop and then grind her butt against my hands, and she keeps switching between the two things, and I’m getting dizzy, and I don’t think it’s just because I’m not breathing, and… and…
And I rip her jacket open!
“Wha—” she says, eyes wide as she sadly—I mean, finally! Finally lets me breathe! Which is a good thing.
But not as good as seeing the pure, white bra, embroidered with a tracery of vines that go along the curves of the two cups, the semi-transparent lace between them letting me see Ms. Mio’s pink, erect nipples for the first time, and they are so different from mine in such intriguing ways that I could just stare—
She’s… reaching behind her back.
The sound of her jacket falling almost makes me look away, but then she twists with her hands still behind her, and the straps of her bra go slack, and… and…
“Take it off,” she orders.
I bite my lip before looking up at her, and she…
She isn’t smiling.
No, she’s looking down at me with lidded eyes and a bitten lip, and I feel like I could faint just by being under those pale, silver eyes when she—
“Take my bra off, Suletta.”
I swallow the slightly concerning amount of saliva in my mouth.
Then, trembling, I take my hands out of Ms. Mio’s pants, and I reach up, ghosting over her arms as she shivers in a way that makes her breasts tremble in front of me, the fascinating, pink nipples moving under the white lace, and…
And I reach the straps lightly resting on her shoulders.
I look at her. Into her eyes.
She nods.
And I… pull…
The bra falls forward, more easily than I expected, and the two pale, perfect breasts are pressed between Ms. Mio’s arms, the white cloth stopped at her elbows as if a shelf to rest the tender flesh on.
“Well? Do you—ah!”
She tastes…
Like…
I…
My eyelids flutter once again, and I suck on the hard flesh peaking the tender areola, Ms. Mio moaning when I do, her hands once more fisted in my hair, pulling me against her as she rubs her whole body against me, and…
And…
I…
I undo my pants, and Ms. Mio notices, and suddenly her fingers are not pulling at my red hair, but at my pants, and I push up with my hips so she can slide them down, and my panties soon follow, and then Ms. Mio is kneeling on Aerial’s cockpit, her cute, shorts-clad butt popped up behind her as she wiggles it for me before kissing the bare inside of my thighs up, and up, and u—oh.
Oh. Oh!
“Ms.—”
“Shut up and enjoy having your pussy eaten,” she growls.
I… I look at her looking up at me as she slowlyapproaches the tuft of dark, red, wet hair between my legs, and then she opens her mouth, and… And moves forward, and…
“Hmmmmmmph!” I tell her while expressively biting my sleeve.
I think.
She… seems to get the message, because her eyes soften and crinkle at the corners before I feel her pointed tongue yet again circle the edge of my lower lips, the movement perfectly smooth, without any hint of hesitation until I can’t help myself and my hips jerk forward, against her, when she’s at the top, so her chin gets drenched with everything coming down from below me, and her… her lips… my…
I scream into my uniform jacket.
And Ms. Mio opens her mouth and sucks me inside her.
I don’t see her, because I can’t look down. My head is locked up, staring at the ceiling of Aerial’s cockpit as my brain tries to process what Ms. Mio is doing to me. And then she pushes two fingers inside me just as she sucks harder than ever, and I open my mouth to let out a scream that seems to push my jacket away.
Or maybe that’s because my arms are hanging uselessly by my sides.
It… It may be that.
Her fingers are not moving anymore, and her breath is washing over me. Over the wet inside of my thighs, where they meet my body, and over… over the little button that’s never felt this sensitive before.
I… I… It takes a while, but I manage to look down.
And she’s still kneeling between my legs. Still popping her butt up.
But she’s naked.
And the butt is moving in slow circles, and there’s a wet noise, and she’s only touching me with one hand, and she’s smiling, licking her lips, and—
“Su—Suletta?!” she says before adding: “Hmmph!”
That… may be because her head is held tightly between my thighs.
Just as mine is between hers.
Ms. Mio is small. Light.
I barely notice I’m holding her up, her body upside down as I rest back against the seat.
But I do notice I’m holding her. I do notice her soft thighs around my ears, the smooth tights over my shoulders, the silky hair flowing down my legs.
And… And I notice her scent.
It’s… I don’t have the words. Maybe if I knew more about flowers or… or things from Earth. Things that don’t come in plastic packages, sealed for consumption in zero gravity. Maybe if I knew about all those things Ms. Mio likes to talk about, I would have the words.
But I don’t.
So… So, to me…
Ms. Mio smells like Ms. Mio.
And that’s enough to make something inside me roar.
“Hn!” she says before diving down, looking for that button of my mine with her tongue as she grasps my thighs hard enough I think I’ll bruise, but I’ll bruise because of her, and that makes me dive forward myself, my lungs filling with her scent before I taste her for the first time, the almost transparent fluid coming from her mild enough that I need to get more, that I have to get as much of it inside of me as I can just so I can properly memorize what Ms. Mio tastes like, because that’s something I need to know—
“Ah! Su—Suletta—fuck!”
I suck on one of the folds, getting it past my lips and teeth so I can trace all over it with my tongue, scraping it for every trace of her flavor as I keep sucking and pressing against her, my nose filling with her, even as being between her legs makes it hard to breathe, but I don’t care—
“Hn!” I try not to moan as she finally finds my clitoris once again and frantically whirls her tongue around it, making me, making me…
Making me want to give something back.
So I stand up, my feet firmly planted on Aerial’s cockpit as the flames from the fireplace in front of me crackle and the saxophone sings, and my blood roars, and Ms. Mio wraps her arms around my waist with desperate strength as her thighs close around my neck hard enough that’s it’s even more of a struggle to breathe.
But I don’t care.
I don’t care, so I hold her light body up, against me, the touch of her soft breasts flattened against my hard belly making me more lightheaded than the lack of air.
And I lick, and suck, and keep listening to her muffled voice rising in pitch until my lips close around her own little button, and Ms. Mio shakes between my arms.
She keeps licking me, sucking me, but I have her in my mouth, surrounded by my lips without even grazing her with my teeth, just as she’s been doing to me, and my tongue attacks her at every angle, and I’m really, really grateful that I’m used to splitting my attention when using GUND-BITs, because I can listen to how Ms. Mio reacts to everything I do, and try different angles and pressure until she…
Ms. Mio… Opens her mouth.
The air inside Aerial’s cockpit is scorching. Hot enough that it feels like the fireplace is real rather than a holographic display.
It still feels freezing on me when Ms. Mio’s lips leave me.
But then… Then she howls. She keeps screaming, and her white hair whips at my legs as she shakes while hanging from my shoulders and arms, and her legs are spasming around my neck, her cute butt moving in front of me as I keep licking her, and…
And then she goes limp.
“Ms.—Ms. Mio…?” I ask.
She doesn’t answer.
So…
So… Very sweaty, and wet with things that are not sweat from either of us, and with my arms maybe a bit more tired than I expected…
I carefully step back until I sit once more on Aerial’s seat. Which is a bit wetter than it should be.
… Serves her right. The jerk.
I take a deep breath—which is a very bad idea, because Ms. Mio’s pu—pussy! Ms. Mio’s pussy is still in front of me, and I’m getting lightheaded once more, and…
No. No. I can… I can control myself.
I think.
So I carefully move her until she’s once again seated on top of my lap, her head curled against my chest, her legs over Aerial’s armrest.
And…
And the flames in front of me play over her sweaty skin, casting her breasts in dancing light and shadow, her face peaceful for the first time since I met her.
I stare at her.
At my… my fiancée.
But that’s… that’s old. And fake. And something we had since the very beginning.
So I… I look at my lover.
“Wish list… get,” I whisper with a small smile that I can’t contain.
“That better not be something dumb,” Ms. Mio mutters without opening her eyes.
“Ah! No! I—I mean—”
“Was it losing your virginity?” she asks with an arched eyebrow and a single open eye beneath it. “Making somebody cum unconscious? Asserting your dominance?”
“I—I—”
“Answer me.”
“It was having my first kiss! With my first love!”
Ms. Mio blinks up at me.
Then blushes, closes her eye back, and nuzzles against my breast.
“Well, good,” she mutters.
And then we stay in silence, except for the peaceful, crackling flames and the fading notes of a saxophone that I will never listen to again.
“Suletta?” she asks without opening her eyes.
“Y—yes, Ms. Mio?”
“This isn’t over. We’re still going to have a long talk.”
“Y—Yes!”
“And it was also my first.”
“What?”
She opens her single eye once more. But she isn’t quiteglaring.
“My first kiss. With someone I love.”
I… blink at her.
“Su—Sulettaaaaaa?!”
Her tongue is limp under mine as I assault her mouth, and Aerial plays back the stupid thing with a saxophone—
“Down! Down, I need to breathe!” Ms. Mio unfairly says as she pushes me back with both hands.
…
I bet I could still kiss her if I press a bit—
“I don’t like pushy girlfriends,” she says, glaring at me.
“… You made me promise to mail you three times every day,” I tell her with flattened eyebrows.
“You don’t see me dating myself, do you?” she answers with that smug smile that tells me she thinks she has won the argument.
I frown. Or pout. One of those two.
“But I am dating you…” I tell her.
Her eyes soften, and she cups my cheeks, her thumb tracing my cheekbone, and… And…
“A nickname!” I tell her.
“What?” she answers with three quick blinks.
“A nickname! Fo—for you! Because you’re my girlfriend, and—”
“No.”
“Moon Eyes! Because your eyes are silver, and—”
“No.”
“Bu—but it’s perfect! Because you look like you’re far away, and light up the sky, and—”
“Denied.”
I look at her. Not pouting.
She looks back. Not glaring.
And then closes her eyes again and goes back to nuzzling against my chest.
And I…
I lean back against Aerial’s backrest and close mine.

Aerial Keeps Being a Good Sister
Suletta and Miorine leave before sunrise but not much earlier.
I wait.
Thirty minutes later, Suletta comes back. With a bucket of soapy water.
She steps inside me without looking up from her feet, her cheeks as red as her hair.
Then she gets on her knees, grabs the wash towel from inside the bucket, and finds Miorine’s white panties in front of her.
She trembles, stutters, and manages to almost dump the bucket’s contents in her panic to scramble away.
I shut the cockpit.
She looks up.
I play Careless Whisper.
She blushes.
“You—you’re mean, Aerial,” she says.
And I am happy.
