This pose was very tricky to pull off especially with the silky robe combined. It really challenged me to figure out how the robe drapes. Not only it definitely push out my comfort zone in a good way, it allowed myself to attempt something i never drawn before.
I did the scales by hand; no scale brushes were used. I really liked Shamerli work on this character: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51872042/ , so i thought to give it a go. I referenced the scales, including the highlights it helped a lot in understanding how scales works.
