Token Thursday #4 - Beneos Tokens 1.0
🕑 Added 2022-05-12 16:24:35 +0000 UTCWow, its actually Thursday!
Beneos Tokens 1.0 releases next week!
As discussed previously, we've worked on a massive overhaul of the Beneos Tokens module. These changes and updates will be applied next week. Incase you forgot and absolutely do not want to go back and read Token Thursday #2, here is the briefest of recaps on what is coming:
- Custom Idle Animations - Choose your a separate idle animations for each Token!
- Updated Code
- Less errors - With the sad exception of the Foundry core bug harassing us, that one's only fixable by the Foundry crew. But they're working on it!
- Streamlined Updates - Simply update the module via the module browser within Foundry
- New folder structure - All tokens will be saved under Foundry/Data/beneos_tokens_assets
If you want to read up on these changes in detail, check out Tokens Thursday #2!
In response to the annoying bug and to accommodate computers with a slower performance, we're also adding a feature to the module enabling you to just turn off the animation switching, just keeping the idle animation.
That's actually all for this week - check out the Sword Guardian that just got released today and let us know if there's something you want us to talk about in Token Thursday - be it tactics, tutorials or, uh, tomfoolery! Everything's possible on Token Thursday.
We'll leave you with a poll:
WOULD YOU LIKE MORE GAMEPLAY-ORIENTED POSTS (akin to the one last week) OR DO YOU JUST WANT COLD HARD FACTS AND INFORMATION FOR TOKEN THURSDAY?
If you want to share stories from your games , experience issues with the module or just want to discuss stuff with like-minded people, you're welcome to join our Discord!

Suggestion : Action oriented creatures almost all tokens have everything labeled as Action only. or a passive trait. bonus/reaction rare... had to retailor a lot of them to actually live up to their potential.
