Special Creature: The Inquisitorial Penitent (003)
🕑 Added 2021-05-27 12:07:10 +0000 UTC"In worlds rampant with magic, institutions condemning the use of the arcane arts are common. More often than not, they consider magic as anathema to the divine, for such power should not be wielded by mortal hands. Inquisitorial Penitents are former witches, persecuted and excruciatingly converted by those they now serve as living weapons. Their connection to the arcane has been perverted, the flow of magic reversed, as they now syphon arcane energies from others with their mere presence. They stalk the lands in packs, travel as independent operatives or are part of an inquisitorial retinue, acting as both bodyguards and executioners. The most dangerous penitents, however, are those who underwent the purifications voluntarily, eager to shed the taint of witchcraft. They are the most unforgiving and zealous of their kind, hunting their tainted kin without mercy or remorse."

Health Warning for Users with Epilepsy
When using animated Beneos Tokens, it's important to be aware of potential health risks, especially for individuals who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy. Some of our Token intros contain elements that could potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. For instance, lightning effects from storm animations on certain maps simulate strobe-like flashes which could act as a trigger. If you or anyone in your gaming group has a history of epilepsy or seizures, please consult a medical professional before using these animated maps. Additionally, users should take breaks regularly while playing, play in a well-lit room, and avoid playing if they are feeling fatigued or have had little sleep, as this can increase the risk of a seizure.
