[0.0.7c Devlog] Trait System, Wolf Monster, Color Mixing
🕑 Added 2022-09-22 06:00:02 +0000 UTCWe have successfully implemented a new monster race into our game~
Lycan (Wolf)
Lycans are more more muscular and taller than our Nekos (cat), let's see the comparison here:
From the back (ignore the shadows!)
Closer look
When you shear/clip Lycans, they produce Claws :)
Upgraded Trait System
We have also implemented some upgrades to the trait system and added new traits~
Towering - Miniature (Visual Traits)
Muscular - Lithe (Visual Traits)
Information about the traits are available as a tooltip, hover the trait:
Offsprings now inherit traits from their parents. Low-level traits can be passed down at a very high rate (if both parents have the trait, almost 100%), but the chance tapers off as the level goes up.
To lvup a trait, breed parents with same trait lv - for example to get Muscular III, breed 2 parents with Muscular II.
During tech demo, pregnancy rate is set at 100%, but we'll adjust it appropriately in the future.
Improved Breeding Formula
We have improved the breeding formula for inheriting colors from monster parents~
Offsprings will inherit skin tone in between their parents' skin tone randomly.
General guideline for fur-color-mixing:
- Red + Yellow = Orange
- Red + Blue = Purple
- Blue + Yellow = Green
If you combine a red parent with a yellow parent the offspring have 33% chance to be orange, 33% red, and 33% yellow.
Brown and pink are not part of color mixing for now.
We will add more color in the future :D
[v0.0.7c] will be released on:
- Wednesday, September 27th for Saint Benefactors
- Wednesday, October 4th for Patrons
