"Havang" HDRI Pack
🕑 Added 2021-06-29 23:02:54 +0000 UTCI was out with Martin today scouting some locations for the upcoming high-res HDRI's we're about to shoot with the "machine". Of course I took the Theta with me to shoot some random run&gun hdr's while we're at it.
You may wonder what the purpose of these are. There isn't any, really, but I'll be uploading a video very shortly in which I use them for demonstrating. However you'll see in the video that they work pretty frekking great to light interiors with, way better than I had expected given the quality of the small Theta camera.
Now I know that you haven't been asking for any HDRI's and I'm sure you have your drives full of'em already. But the upcoming video briefly explains why I'm so sold on HDRI's and once my machine is ready (currently about 80% through), it'll all make perfect sense, promise! :-)
Sorry for all the separate attachment but you can only blame Patreon's shitty system for that.

Personally, I think there can never be enough HDRIs! I use them whenever I can.
I've seen you post your criticism many times. What I don't get is, why are you still his Patreon? If you don't like the content, why do you pay for it? I'm also not interested in every bit of content he posts but there is still a lot of other content that is really helpful to me. I've learned a lot over de past years since I have been his Patreon.
We might actually get some content that us patreons have requested one day, but I wouldn't hold your breath. He is too busy indulging himself thanks to our funding and sharing it here in a hope that we see it as legitimate material for us to learn from instead of creating actual tutorials.
In just a few minutes actually, I'm waiting for it to render. The video also briefly explains why I'm getting into HDRI shooting as I want to develop the lighting workflow a bit.
Are you planning to provide tutorials anytime soon? There's tons of hdri's available for download online. I believe most of us are here for the tutorials.
