Your Best Self (CANCELLED EPISODE)
🕑 Added 2021-07-22 17:48:27 +0000 UTCThis episode was made shortly after two other cancelled episodes, and this episode was cancelled for similar reasons to them—lack of direction. I started working on the episode with an unfinished script. Everything you see in this video is all that I had written, so once I finished editing what you see, I immediately hit a roadblock, with no idea on how to continue the episode.
The whole plot was generally just weak and aimless as well. My entire reasoning behind making it was that I wanted another Optica! Video-oriented episode, so I came up with a New Age-esque plot (which I still think is a cool idea). At the time, I was stuck in the headspace of “I need to get a Gemini episode out”, so I would make weak episode after weak episode that I never ended up being happy about.
As a side note, a lot of the writing in this episode seems to contradict already established lore. I don’t know what I was thinking there.
On the flip side, I love the aesthetic of this episode and I’d love to re-use it eventually.

This episode is unfinished, so any abnormally slow pacing or similar issues would have been fixed had I continued working on the episode.
