This Secretariat monologue about running the beginning of the episode made me think of that Kanbaru running scene in Hanamonogatari after she learned truth about Numachi. Yeah...

That's an interesting read on the location of the final scene. I just think the significance of the location is a callback to the promise Herb made with Bojack there. "When we're both famous and have Everthing we've ever wanted, we'll come back here and hi-five." The season ends with Bojack at that location. He's received the fame and attention he wanted.. but he's not there with Herb. Notice that the background characters around him are couples there together. Bojack is there alone. This finale certainly did end off with the feeling of "so.. what now?" And that's too relatable lol.
