I was a Sonic 3 (and Knuckles) kid and was never too familiar with 2. Several years ago now I decided to sit down and play through 2 on the PS2 collection (which is still unbelievably still the best Sonic collection out there) and I was surprised how much the game focuses on NOT running. Running through this game gets you killed. It is a pretty good game, but phew that was frustrating having to relearn how to play Sonic.
