At long last, Day 12 is a thing that exists! And it even contains 100% of your daily birb requirements!
Day 12 marks the first time that we're splitting a day between two releases. The first roughly two thirds of Day 12 (which, incidentally, is still longer than the average day at this point) will be included with the April release while the last third will be included in the May release. The reason? Artwork. I absolutely blew my nut on Day 11 and needed about 20,000 things drawn which... I'm still waiting on quite a bit. CurryCatz has a way of pulling through at the last minute, so everybody raise your hands and send him your energy so he can channel an art-bomb for 20 episodes to kill Freiza!
I bet you're wondering what specific piece of art we're missing that has resulted in Day 12 being split like this. Remember how a few months back I posted a sketch of a devilishly handsome wolf? Yep. He's finally being introduced, but he needs to be finished first.
Currently, Day 12 is in it's first pass state. This is not a repeat of Day 11, so I will not wind up rewriting big chunks of it and spending a week getting it just so, I expect the second pass to roll out tomorrow after some heavy polish and the final version to roll out shortly after that.
Oh, and yes. The April Update? It's the biggest we've ever released in terms of wordcount and lines. As of right now, it is just shy of 40,000 words all up. How long is that, exactly? Well, it is 1 full day and two thirds of another with a total running length just shy of a third of Diego's entire route. Yeah. Dwell on that statistic.
We're on the final stretch now. Time to bring it home...
