Progress Report
🕑 Added 2020-11-21 21:51:15 +0000 UTCDay 19 is finished! At least, from a writing standpoint. The final version is approximately 150% as long as the second longest day in Diego's route, which is one of the reasons it took so long. Another is, as previously mentioned, Day 19 is a plot resolution day. Most of Diego's plot is resolved there. There are some bits that will be tackled on Day 20, but for the most part, Day 19 wraps almost everything up. With that in mind, we took a little extra time to make sure the day was up to par.
Starting tomorrow, we'll be beginning work on Day 20. The key events are already planned out and we know fairly well where we're going with it and what we're doing so the planning process shouldn't be too difficult. I expect to begin writing it next weekend and HOPEFULLY, it'll be up to standard in time for release.
We've spoken amongst ourselves and agreed that we'd rather take a few extra days to get it right than to rush it and release something subpar, so if we can't get Day 20 just right in the remaining time, we may opt to do so. Whether or not that will happen is uncertain at this stage, we'll let you know if we decide to do that. I expect that if we were to do so, it would only be 3 or 4 days more.
Day 20 is going to be shorter than 19 overall, but should still be a fairly standard length for a day in Sileo. It's not going to be a monster like Day 19 has been. It will however be a very plot focused day, mostly offering closure to the story, giving everyone a bit of screen time, etc. We've got a few nice surprises on this day too. Hopefully you all really enjoy it!
