Phone Call UI!
🕑 Added 2020-08-02 12:04:27 +0000 UTCThe August development cycle is already bearing fruit! Our first addition to the game is a new interface for phone calls.
Whereas before the sprites would hide and dialogue with the calling character would appear, now the sprites stay, the background and displayed sprites are dimmed and this little widget appears. Said widget supports changing backgrounds and full sprite outfits and expressions, so the backgrounds and outfits will fit wherever that character is and whatever they're wearing in that moment, while the sprites expression will respond to dialogue just like if they were in person.
This feature is retroactive and will roll out in the September builds.
