Early Access // Early Birthday Fun!!
🕑 Added 2025-03-26 03:11:33 +0000 UTCHi every dino nuggie long time no talk! Here's an early access to my post for tomorrow! It's an early birthday :) I had a great weekend full of love and family time. We had a nice steak dinner, did some shopping and enjoyed each other's time and company. Here are a couple of the polaroids the giveaway winner won! and my accessories for the day! I went all blue with a hint of pink from my cute blind box keychain! :)
I wanted to jump on the trend...
I'm turning 29 and I'm not ashamed to admit:
- I'm just now figuring myself out and growing into my own person. Growing up and my 28 years of living -- I did what others wanted me to do. I never talked back or argued with my mom, I went along with what others asked or expected of me. I did my best to be the 'picture perfect' person. I was obedient and didn't have much of an opinion or desire for anything. I applied to a college I was told I would get accepted into, I didn't do anything for myself, I made sure others were happy and comfortable before myself. Just now am I figuring out what I like and what I want to do. I dress how I want and voice my opinions more. I make sure that I do what I can and have no regret with my choices.. I learn and grow to ensure that I'm becoming the best person I can be. I stand my ground in my choices and enjoy my days as a Stego.
- This is my first time living outside of my mom's house. Since graduating in 2018 all of my friends lived outside of their parent's roof. Even my brother once graduated left the house. I moved back in with my mom and stayed with her until 2024 when I moved out with my brother. Living out in the world nowadays is hard work man.. it's expensive. It's okay if you still live under your parent's roof -- save money and as long as it is a safe environment that's important.
- I don't have a handle on my life -- I don't know how I'm expected to balance everything. Working full time, taking care of my dog, somehow being a content creator, streaming, going to the gym.. all while making sure I shower, eat at least 3 meals a day, 1 snack, drink at lest a gallon of water and get 8 hours of sleep while dating and also getting enough sleep?! How am I supposed to do that?? All while having a straight posture.. that's insane. Anyway -- I don't know how to do that.
- I cook but not enough?? or I don't know what to cook? Too many saved recipes. Not enough time. Too many groceries.
- I'm Korean but I don't speak it. Growing up my mom spoke Korean to me but there came to a point where I wouldn't respond in English. She got scared and started to talk to me in English only. There's this weird disappointment towards people that can't speak their native tongue. It's embarrassing to admit and something I'm a bit ashamed of -- but, I understand it and can slowly read/write it. So... we're somewhere.

It’s hard!! I can’t find to seem a balance for everything. I’m struggling to focus on one thing sometimes.

Life is just continuously learning and growing. I’m in my 30s and I’m still changing and growing. I have yet to meet someone who says they’ve got it all figured out (even my friends in their 40s) so that’s normal. Confidence comes in time too (I didn’t feel confident until my 30s tbh)
