This is but the first draft, if anything feels off, stuff you feel should be changed, any additions which would make it feel better, let me know.
All inputs will taken into account and I will finalize a script after.
Now enjoy the first draft.
Naruto : Hidden Cloud
A child around six years old was standing on a beach, wind was blowing through his hair as he looked at the sea.
He had average looks, nothing one would look for twice in a crowd.
Be it his brown hair, his pale skin or his plain expression, everything screamed average anime character.
There was absolutely nothing special about him
Except for his soul.
"Six years, do you know how hard it was to live through childhood again?"
The child said bitterly to the ocean, the one who he held responsible for bringing him to this world.
After all, if he didn't drown during the cruise he wouldn't be reborn here.
He would still be partying in his world, where he was filthy rich and was handsome.
But now? Now he had to wear out of fashion clothes, didn't have any girls and had a painfully average face.
"I hate your guts ocean, I'll destroy you one day."
The child announced to the vast sea it's eventual destruction.
A tall claim for one child to make, but in this world, it wasn't impossible.
'Hehe, I got just the perfect plan.'
'After I become a six paths character, I'll keep making chibaku tensei and chuck all the ocean water into the sun.'
The child thought smugly, unable to comprehend how devastating his actions would be to the world if that ever happens.
Or did he understand the consequences yet decided to do the same?
A question worth thinking about.
"Sigh~"
"But that would require for me to become a competent Ninja first."
The child scratched his hair with both hands in a show of frustration.
It wasn't that becoming a Ninja or getting into a hidden village was difficult for him, it was becoming a competent Ninja that was the problem.
In this world it was almost impossible to do, given his birth and lack of alien bloodline.
He was born in the land of waves, the place where 'Naruto bridge' would be built in the story.
The spot where Zabuza and Haku will take their last breaths while decapitating the monster Gato.
That monster, was his father in this life.
That's right, he was the son of Gato, a businessman who ran Gato company, a shipping company with it's own sea faring routes, the company which had multiple shady deals on the side.
A complete monster of an industry in this day and age.
So what the hell was he complaining about you ask, he was already born higher than most people can even dream of you say.
For that he could only say, he had lived better, far better than what his new father could provide.
He was all in all, a guy who went from absolute best in the world to the second best in the world.
It made sense to his mind~
"Master Sato, Master Gato is calling you."
"Please come with me."
The boy named Sato paused his thoughts for a second and turned towards the back.
There stood a girl his age, she had a happy and soft smile on her face, her fair skin and black waist length hair was blowing in the wind.
It was pretty obvious that she would grow up to become extremely beautiful.
But it only gave chills to the boy.
"Haku, stop with that look man."
Sato twitched his eyes, this was Haku, the boy who surpassed every girls in looks, the boy was supposed to die in this very land.
Yet, destiny had changed from Sato's intervention.
The boy who should have died as a tool for Zabuza, was taken in by him when he was at his lowest, when he was collecting food from garbage.
Being the son of a shipping company owner had it's perks, especially in land of water, Sato could roam free in many areas and one of them happened to be where Haku was.
Being a businessman's son, Sato didn't think twice about an investment this good, and took Haku in as his right hand man.
It was just, the guy was beautiful, really beautiful.
"And I told you to wear a mask dude, don't you understand, I can't have someone better looking than me around."
"That makes me look stupid, it's follower 101!"
Sato complained, something which made Haku giggle softly, and it was as if the world itself lit up with the laugh, which made Sato clench his teeth in shame.
How unfair.
"Why, why did I have to look so average God!"
Sato fell down with sadness, his life was over, he couldn't even compare to his follower, how pitiful.

Yup that was the plan! I did somewhat change it for a more grounded approach, a complete zero to hero, but the core structure will remain similar.
I think this could work for the base structure of this Naruto story. Since he is Gato’s son he basically has the connections/ resources to put his plans into motion. And due to his location, he’ll eventually interact with team 7, giving him more reasons to interact with others from the hidden leaf village for story plot devices.
No worries, It's a draft after all, it was mainly to decide three things. The world (Naruto), Main character's attitude (He's Gato's son so..), Storyline or Scope (A land of lightning based story).
