Laken Riley’s disappearance and the way in which she was discovered would spark nationwide outrage…while a 26-year-old immigrant from Venezuela quickly became the poster child for violent offenders who enter the United States illegally, as the presidential primary approached and was just days away…

Thank you for trying to bring awareness to the fact that this beautiful young woman’s death should not be politicized. Regardless of how you vote, there have been millions of criminals who have illegally come onto this country over the past 50 years… there are millions of criminals who are American citizens… evil will always exist

That number was included because the school chose it as a political symbol… not because I’m itching to find meaningless political correlations while recording a podcast.

I’ve been a bit disappointed with Invisible Choir as of late. I can hear sprinkles of political ideology in the episodes. I left one podcast because it began to get political. Ending the podcast with “That happens to be the number of undocumented illigal immigrants…” put a sour taste in my mouth. While I acknowledge the tragedy, you not once mentioned that there are people who are coming to this country simply for a better life. Such as my parents.
