🕑 Added 2023-12-08 22:12:36 +0000 UTCOn July 13th, 2019, 17-year-old Carlos Hallowell woke up from a late afternoon nap to the sound of his dogs barking at his home in Inverness, Florida that he shared with his adoptive mother, Denise Hallowell. Noticing his mother didn’t respond to the commotion, he decided to check on her. Inside the bedroom lay a grizzly crime scene that would not only shock Carlos, but the community at large. As the investigation into his mother’s murder progressed, detectives would soon uncover the horrific truth at the bottom of the lake behind their home.

For me, I loved the interrogation audio! I don’t want all the shows to be this format because Michael has such an awesome narrating voice, but I dug the long show and details. Very cool to hear the interrogators technique, work their magic and slowly get him to tell the truth.
